Thank you for toning it down, I think we maybe in agreement, in answer to your question you are right but the fact that we have that 1 is important to us...the number of individuals representatives is not important to me they can be 80GCs and 20TCs but if the issue effects one community negatively then the community concerned should have more weight, if on the issue of enosis all GC reps votes yes the at least eg 10 TCs reps should agree, if they do then we all become Greek citizens as you say, what is important for us is to have a say and not have purely a GC state where GCs decide everything about our future. Now do you understand what I am saying?

If your referring to the "RoC" imho the 1960 consititution could have worked if both sides were committed 100% to make it work when they signed, in heinsight we can see that the enosis and taksim dreams were still very much alive. It was an opportunity thrown away to build a Cypriot people but we all know how it turned out.

The everyday laws will effect everyone the same so the ratio of GCs to Tcs voting it through can be very low, so I do not see a problem as both sides will want the same, eg man commits murder he gets life etc but if the law or decision is going to effect either side negatively then the veto is a very important element for TCs and I am sure GCs as well.

This is the million dollar question for every TCs, the GC majority imbalance frightens many TCs and thats why they feel going it alone it better for them in the long run as they do not trust GCs at all and is the reason why we demand so many sometimes which appear stupid safeguards. I would agree to being an equal citizen of a united Cyprus on the basis of see a roap map of where we TCs will play our role but I to would like safeguards even if they were for interim periods until trust was established. One thing more I would like to get your opinion on, what if the GCs did try to dillute agreements using the EU and push TCs into a minority poisition with no voice what safeguards do you think we shoudl have in place to deter them from doing this? The right for TCs to go to referendum in say 10 years to vote on whether we want to continue with GCs or seperate just like Serbia & Montenegro? (this is just a suggestion please dont go crazy)
