My information is that the plane was not a Chinese plane but a Turkish charter plane. And it landed at Ercan from Turkish airspace,not the first time that such a thing happened apparently.

But they made a big thing about of it in the TRNC. The Minister for Finance met the plane with some ceremony or other. It must be the first time in political history of the world where a shipment of commercial goods has been celebrated by a state ceremony!!!!This whole thing is getting more and more bizzare by the day. I am not sure whether to laugh or to cry...
