Pie and Mash

UKMAN asking about Cornish Pasties in an earlier thread made me think about Pie 'n' Mash, a typically East-End of London delicacy.

Does anyone know of a restaurant that does it on the island?

Postby k'n'G » Sun Feb 04, 2007 11:22 am

Hi Mountain man - My mum says she saw a small English owned Taverna in Oroklini old center (Larnaca) when we were viewing property, they had a sign up saying that they served Pie & Mash - and Shell Fish ie cockels and wealks(not sure how to spell that) Don't know where you are based but if you are home sick it might be worth the trip! - cheers K'N'G

Thanks for the reply, I don't go to Larnaca all that often as i live near Troodos but my next visit will include a trip to Oroklini.

Definitely not homesick but just have the odd craving :)
