I do not know the reality or otherwise of these "exercises" or rumours but I would say that it is not unusual for some nations to follow up verbal threats with a show of arms. Although I have been a regular visitor to the forum I was never really that eager to participate in the debate cause I always thought that the forum is dominated by quite a few nationalist elements from both communities.

But before getting into the point, let me introduce myself...
I am a 30 years old guy, I consider myself a Cypriot (for those that may wonder, I am a greek speaking Cypriot) - I have always been pro-rapproachment and have engaged in quite a lot bicommunal events.

I was initially prompted to post by the attitude of kifeas and comment on his last few posts - really kifeas you must be a very sad guy my friend! What is all this bullshit about war/weaponry etc. I really hope that you are younger than 12 cause otherwise you make me ashamed that you are a GC. I know that people like you exist in quite some numbers in the GC community but hey...you the ultranationalist getting that low to be chatting on the internet with TCs? Come on mate, I bet you think that you are THE patriot - the true GC! Isn't that right? You are no different from any of EOKA B or TMT fascists.

By the way..could anyone enlighten me on what is the goal of this forum? If this is to discuss and understand each other's sensitivities in a civilised way the I don't see this working - if this for some to unload all their chauvinist feelings behind the anonymity of their keyboard then it is not worth it.

So let me suggest that from now on people just ignore provogative comments that are trying to promote a certain agenda. Lets ignore Kifeas for a start...
