TRNC's Soyer warns Papadopoulos on oil issue

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

It would be a fatal mistake to give rights to only these countries. They should give pumping permission to everybody including US and Co

By the way the statement is not correct. Only 2 companies in the whole planet can pump that oil out. It is 2 Km below sea bed.Plus another 4Km below sea level. One of the 2 companies is BP.

Who are behind BP?

I REPEAT: Imagine what the TCs will do when they will smell petrol, considering what they did when they smelled Europe.

Yes VP that is where Turkey is wanting to take it. She has done it before and she will do it again because Turkey is a bully and the sad thing for Cypriots she will succeed again because she has the backing of the US behind her,. It really goes beyond my undertsanig what Turkey has to do with bussiness of the RoC.

I am also of the view after observing this post that perhaps the RoC ought to jsut let the situation be as most of the Turksih Speaking Cypriots rather back a regime that has kept them isolated and impoverished for more than 30 years than standing on their own feet saying not to Turkey and unifying with the Greek Cypriots and prosper.

Am going to bed now.

first talat, then turkey and now soyer. haven't they run out casus beli?

I mean, they threaten egypt, lebanon, roc this time and if we add the greece and kurdistan, this will bring the tally to 5.
the question is. should an aspiring eu country go around threatening and trying to bully other countries, especially other eu countries?

can anyone imagine what it would be like today, if the annan plan got through? its horrifying

ah yes, now what did the US do to saddam for threatening his neighbours ? I know they bomb the shit out of iraq and hung him. Will they now do the same to Turkey in the name of peace and democracy ? Yeah like fu'k they will. Just goes to show.

Here is a country that the UK wants so badly to be in the EU, that throws threats of war around because it can't have its own way. Shows the true colours this war mongering country. We have a saying in greek, (translated it goes some like this) however many time you bath your dog, he will always smaell of dog.

Thats turkey for you, no matter how nice you dress up this country, it will always be the animal it is.

Long live a free and proporous cyprus.

pantheman, unfortunately , the only action the US & Uk will take is to provide great discounts to Turkey on weapons purchased for war against Cyprus becuase they too will benefit from this. As far as I'm concerned The Republic of Cyprus ought to expell both the British and US embasy from Cyprus.
