Let me get this straight VP.

You want the GCs to help you.
List me what exactly you want the GCs to do.
You understand you are asking me to risk everything. To play a very risky game, which might, just might, be successful in getting my rights back one day.

Tell me how will you quarantee me it will not turn against me?

Remember we are at a stage today that the Standard of living of TCs is double than what it was 3 years ago. Look at the poll results of this topic. ALL TCS participating (2 exceptions) VOTED FOR PARTITION ALREADY!!!

Being stressed and torn apart to opposite directions for the interests of 2 countries does not actually make you want to choose one, but instead it makes you want to stay put and do your own thing, this is why i support partition for the moment so that TRNC can look after herself without the need of anyone, specially Turkey and eventually the border will dissolve like the Berlin wall... it will just be pointless for it to be there!

plus its not like the moment we have strengthen our economy we will slice the island in half and drift away with your proeprties

Lets assume you are right for the sake of discussion. Lets assume that helping you develop to a high standard will result in re-unification (I definitely disagree but lets see)

What do you need for development?
1You need hotels . Where are you going to build them. Has Talat ever agreed to stop building on GC land?
2)You need Tourists hence direct flights. How are you going to have them if that would mean recognition through Ercan? Anyway you are already having direct flights through Larnaca.
3)You need establish a solid monetary system to have a stable economy. How are you going to do that using the Turkish Lira?
4)You need a healthy Political system. How are you going to do that with so many settlers who alter the results towards partitionists?

You name me the other things you need to have to develop and I will explain for all of them.

Currently we are already helping with all the ways we can EXCLUDING those who mean recognition, or UPGRADE of the occupied into a legal state. Your Standard of living doubled within 4 years. DONT TELL ME THIS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE HELP OF THE GCs!!!

Yet you don't appreciate anything. The turn towards partition is becoming clearer and clearer each day you go towards a better standard of living. And You don't appreciate it is DUE to the GCs...

What?

Really what has the RoC done for us that does not include pressure from other countries and money from Europe.???????????????????????????

What did I tell you VP. Just look at Zan. How many Zans are there?
The money from EU have not yet arrived and he thinks your standard of living doubled because of the EU money.

This is what we are going to have. They will be saying the RoC did nothing and everything was achieved by you.

So Zan the other countries pressured the GC employers to employ TCs, and forget about employing cheap Bulgarians?

Well give us a clue then. Tell us that the GCs employed the TCs out of the goodness of their hearts. Convince me and stop using excuses as to who is forcing you to do what. You see VP.......................

Pyro hes only asking you to clarify exactly what steps your leaders have taken for the TC over the past 3 years to show that unification is better than what we have now?

I have also asked but have got no response.

Yes but it would not be one sided, allowing direct flights and trade would be a first step, GCs would also be encouraged to apply for their properties back or compensation, they will also be allowed to come live in the north. Joint projects to rehouse the Turks and TCs could be encouraged so that more GCs that want to live here could do so and vice versa.
