Viewpoint lets cut the crap.

From 1974 until 1983 you were much better off than the Gcs economically. In fact by 1983 you were so "liberated" you declared your own state. The thought of re-unification was never in your minds. Slowly slowly after thayt we developed more but still you were not interested for re-unification.
You started getting interested only when you smelled the EU coming and you thought it would just start raining Euros.

Nothing like that happened and as you very rightly say your people are turning back once again to their partition dreams. I am very sorry, but we were actually LUCKY, that you damped economically. It was not preplaned nor expected from us, despite all you so called "embargo" fallacies.

So don't ask us to throw away our LUCK. Here the Divine Right sent us another LUCKY card. Petrol... Lets see.

The GCs don't see it that way, they feel if we have the freedom to strengthen our economy and have all the rights they enjoy themselves we will no longer have any incentive to want a solution.

What incentive would you have :?: :?: :?: :?:

Recognition,

Joining with our GC brothers  ,

Stronger Joint Economy,

Establishing Trust,

Breaking away from Turkey,

Ho I nearly forgot OIL

That's very funny.

Recognition for what? To return the properties to the GCs? You would be doing fine.
Stronger Joint Economy, for what? To have the GCs suffocate you?
Establishing Trust, for what and with whom? With the Greeks you hate?
Breaking away from Turkey for what? They are your brothers and you would think it is inside their arms you got all that.

For OIL? Yes but I better not have you so much developed until that day.

Moreover why don't you ask your supernationalists like Zan what they would do after they were so economically independent? Ask them and you will get a very straight answer.

Dont you want the right to return?

You are not reading what I write, if people see that there is something better they will demand it. Your EU example is spot on, and the last 4 years have shown nothing but the dangers that would be faced with pig headed GCs, the in saying in the north is "we are better off going it alone". If GCs help TCs progress by easing isolation issues, I not saying recognition and the TCs can see that unity is better than division then I think the rest will follow. As long as you continue your current stance you will get more of the same, its needs a kick start which obviously your leaders are not interested in.

What could possibly be better than uniting with our brothers who HELPED us through this mess, by not acting solely for their properties and revenge, but acting for a united Cyprus and its people! Being stressed and torn apart to opposite directions for the interests of 2 countries does not actually make you want to choose one, but instead it makes you want to stay put and do your own thing, this is why i support partition for the moment so that TRNC can look after herself without the need of anyone, specially Turkey and eventually the border will dissolve like the Berlin wall... it will just be pointless for it to be there!

plus its not like the moment we have strengthen our economy we will slice the island in half and drift away with your proeprties

So you are obviously up for more of the same? Fine we will have to pursue our agenda to ease isolation coupled with continued intransigence of the GCs which drives the wedge in even further.

It seems you don't understand what you are saying.
Yes I want the right to return. Will you give it to me if you will have to lose my property and my land?
Why would you give it to me? Everything would be fine with you, economy would be fine, equal standard with GCs, why would you lose anything?

And whats worse why would you risk it for the "ANIMALS" who "GENOCITED" you?

Woooo too scaring, makes my body shiever, someone called VP used to say

Look the average TCs and the TC in Guzelyurt are a prime examples knowingly they voted yes to becoming refugees yet again, we do not want you property that is way down on the list of priorities, why cant you grasp this? Its not just about land for us having a say in our own future, having our own area and security are more important for us.

Pyro you are not absorbing what I have said in the past about creating a level playing field of course GCs should be allowed to come back that would be part of the deal.

Lets assume you are right for the sake of discussion. Lets assume that helping you develop to a high standard will result in re-unification (I definitely disagree but lets see)

What do you need for development?
1You need hotels . Where are you going to build them. Has Talat ever agreed to stop building on GC land?
2)You need Tourists hence direct flights. How are you going to have them if that would mean recognition through Ercan? Anyway you are already having direct flights through Larnaca.
3)You need establish a solid monetary system to have a stable economy. How are you going to do that using the Turkish Lira?
4)You need a healthy Political system. How are you going to do that with so many settlers who alter the results towards partitionists?

You name me the other things you need to have to develop and I will explain for all of them.

Currently we are already helping with all the ways we can EXCLUDING those who mean recognition, or UPGRADE of the occupied into a legal state. Your Standard of living doubled within 4 years. DONT TELL ME THIS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE HELP OF THE GCs!!!

Yet you don't appreciate anything. The turn towards partition is becoming clearer and clearer each day you go towards a better standard of living. And You don't appreciate it is DUE to the GCs...
