Forgive me if I keep adding to my wish list but I do so after taking on some of the comments that others have made.

So I would also ban the promotion of nationalism and religion in the schools and given the inter-communal promiscuity that some of us are advocating, I would replace these with safe sex education. I would also make "Viagra" freely available to those who need it.

In theory yes, but its a very unlikely scenerio...I met a GC lady who said she would rather kill her son than him marry a TC girl, so this line of thought is on both sides and very common, I to would be very disappointed if my children married a GC. So Talat is not alone in his thought.

But why,Viewpoint? Why would you be disappointed? If they were in love and they truly wanted to be with each other,why should you not bless them?I really don't think you are a racist person. And you have agreed in theory that interbreeding would end Cypro. So why would you object?

Inter marriages in Cyprus are taboo for as long as religion and blind nationalism are taught at schools as a matter of fact. I would not hesitate for one moment to give my blessing to any TWO Cypriots that tie the knot .
Thats provided that the have a wedding and invide me to the reception !!

I have two daughters,dear miltiades,22 and 20 years old.
Nothing would please me more if they maried GCs and settled in Cyprus or wherever. But one is going out with an English guy at the moment,and the other is showing more interest in her own kind which is a bit of a worry.

But here is a promise: If either decide to get married to whoever,you will get an invitation to the reception wherever it is held...

I hope "safe sex" does not mean condoms,bill...that would defeat the purpose And,I agree, viagra will have to be freely available to both sexes...

Yeah,but same sex sex would defeat the purpose as much as using condoms. So homosexuality will not be encouraged under my dictatorship. But it won't be outlawed either.For we know that homosexuality is in some people's nature,and they can't change it.Nor should they.

Yes but we must be seen to be good Europeans with equal rights for all so I would agree that homosexuality should not be encouraged but also would add that it should not be discouraged. I won't budge on the matter of bestial sex.

Well after reading the coments on inter marriages, I suggest that there i such an entrenched racism that we might as well leave thinsg as they are. I am really saddened by the posts. Have we lost sight of humanity?????
