How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

How refreshing to see a thread where people are almost civilised to each other. Is evereyone feeling themselves today?(No double entendre intended!)

If I were the GC leader for one day...I would officially invite Talat and Co to abolish their pretend state and return to the RoC with full rights under the 1960 constitution. With the preconditions that for the next 30 years all marriages will be between Cypriots from different ethnic origins, and all children from these marriages will learn both languages and both religions from birth...

See how easy it would be to solve the Cypro if I was Tpapa...

Cypriots are so untidy. Just spent a few hours hiding in the buffer zone. The place is full of rusty, round metal things that someone has dumped. You really ought to clean up the place.

I can't agree with B's reliance on the 1960 constitution. Did it ever work? In my wish list I'd rather put my faith in the Treaty of Accession to the EU and in that institution's laws including its human rights provisions. We are all Europeans now.

Would agree with some kind of mandatory free sex between the communities if I could be allowed an early choice of partners.

I am afraid the “we are all European” thing is nothing more than this scientology thing. Give up all you've got and become equal. Might work for our Tom but not for me. It is rewarding the GC terrorists for their part in all of this.

I would go for femdatory sex myself.

Talat would quite rightly veto that as he is against mixed marriages he said so himself.

I think he might live to regret that comment.
But leaving aside all that nationalistic crap,Viewpoint, you would agree that my 30 year compulsory interbreeding will put an end to Cypro, would you not?

In theory yes, but its a very unlikely scenerio...I met a GC lady who said she would rather kill her son than him marry a TC girl, so this line of thought is on both sides and very common, I to would be very disappointed if my children married a GC. So Talat is not alone in his thought.

Inter marriages in Cyprus are taboo for as long as religion and blind nationalism are taught at schools as a matter of fact. I would not hesitate for one moment to give my blessing to any TWO Cypriots that tie the knot .
Thats provided that the have a wedding and invide me to the reception !!

Of course it would. After 30 years of breeding no bugger would be able to move. 8)
