I love it when you talking to me so sweet...
Ok back to the subject! Comparing the money we spend on gas with the money that friend and relatives spend on petrol...We spend less than them and we use the heating more hours than they do. We sleep with the heating on, we might forget it on for days and they turn it on only few hours a day...and we still pay less than they do...!!!
Pyrpolizer wrote:See Lena, you are not factually correct. here are so many parameters in that. Is your house an appartment? Is it between floors? If it is a house does it have better insulation than your friends. Does it have better orientation, i.e more sun hitting it all day?
I can prove to you scientifically and economically that gas as it stands today at a price of 50 cents per litre, compared with 44 cents of HEATING diesel with a heating value 65% that of diesel and with a burning efficiency about 97% for BOTH, that gas is by 40% less economic than diesel.
Moreover: It is by far more dangerous than diesel installations in case of leak. This means a big booooooom risk for a house.
Just think of this: Do you think that the vast majority of Cypriots who use diesel are crazy or something, and you are the only clever ones in Cyprus?

I have given you a PROFFESSIONAL advice. You are free to do as you like. Gas btw is not something new in Cyprus....
People tried it in the past, simply because it is clean and needs no maintenance. On the other hand though...
