what would happen if oil was found between roc and turkey?

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

what would happen if oil was found between roc and turkey?

just for argument sake, if oil was found between cyprus and turley, what would turkey's attitude be?

1...would she wait for a solution to be found before drilling?
2...would she extend rights to the rest of the roc?
3...would she go ahead and start drilling with a fuck you attitude?

The thought in Turkeys mind is: Ok lets go and rescue the whole island from the danger of...eeee....mmmmm....ok we will find it later, in our way...and then we will not have to think of anything or anyone to do our job...who is going to tell us what we will do with OUR land!!!

That doesnt sound that bad...is not the first time that we might found out about movements that they made "under our nose" (as we say in Cyprus) and actually I cant remember any time that they have done anything and took our permission first

But for sure number one is not an option for Turkey!!!

My dear shahmaran...pitsilos said...
just for argument sake,

so I gave him an argument to start his topic...I was being sarcastic...I gave him what he wanted to hear...not that I trust Turkey and the truth was going to be away from that...but what I saw it was just 4 or 5 topics about the OIL...the OIL...which means money...the Cyprus problem end up as financial problem!!! It wasn't enough that our country was divided but know we will divide the sea too...what come next???

I gave him what he wanted to hear

why thank you, how considerable of you.

look lena just so we get something sorted out. i am all for sharing the natural resources, its the only way to go forward.

i say put the tc share into a trust and when a solution is found that both parties agree the money is dispersed.

the reason for my questions is to see how our tc bros would have reacted if the tables were reversed.

its not about halfing the seas or the air, if indeed there are 400 billion dollars worth of oil buried, it should be happy days for all cypriots.

if we want unification of some description, we gonna have to share one way or another or sooner than later, take your pick.

My dear pitsilos I knew from the very first moment why you put that ... your name is "pitsilos"...dont forget I am from Cyprus. Do you want to be honest...I hope that the whole story with the oil will be just a lie...if its not then our island will never be safe...we had bronze, basaltic, asbestos, chromium, copper-bearing iron pyrite deposits as well as interesting concentrations of gold and silver. I should add on that our geographical position. We have been through a lot. Do we need more? Ok and if its not Turkey it will be America or anyone else...I prefer to be safe without money...if the subject will be the 400bilion dollars rather than to be dead and rich!

why not tell us why then?

your name is "pitsilos"

and by this you mean?

on the oil business we disagree. the government should do its utmost in capitalizing if indeed there is oil down there. if we don't someone else will do it with out our permission anyway.

further more even if we deside against it, i am sure the us will force us to drill. or you think the us will sit idle and respect our decision of not drilling in the name of peace

You said why your self...I meant that I realised that. Do you know the good meaning of "parapotis"...I dont know why but they told me that all the pitsiloi are "parapoties" (they can do what they want with a round way...not straight one). And read again my post...I said that I hope...like I wish...thats what "I" hope...and I didnt mention anything about government or oil business...or what it will eventually happen if its true!
