Thats the problem - son aged 2, daughter aged 2mths. A long flight is a lot of work, a short flight only takes you so far --- Cy to Dubai is only 3.5 hours but its an expensive flight...

Just looking at Austrailia - villas are cheap to rent - now looking how to get there!!!

With two young kids, all you be able to do, would be to sit in a villa somewhere in Australia, so if you're not going to be able to see different parts of Australia, what's the point going all the way there.

Swiss friends went to Australia last year, with 2 kids, 6 & 4, but rented a camper (mobil home) and traveled for a month. That might be also a suggestion for you, which will be more comfortable for all.

It was not cheap however. It cost around 20,000 CHF.....around 7,000 Cyprus Pounds.

Australia's lovely, (they speak English there y'know?). Dubai is great. Timbuctou's actually quite nice at this time of year! Then again, with the 2 kids in tow, do you really feel up to 22 hours of 'are we there yet, are we there yet'?

Why not come over to sunny Blackpool!!!!

I could give you a tour of the sites in my armoured Lada

Just think very soon you could be cruising down Central drive watching the dealers dealing and collecting their recompense in their own inimitable way

You and your family could soon be winging your way to Talbot square to observe the local constabulary totally ignoring the stag parties thumping and kicking vehicles trying to pass

As you progress up towards your luxury barbed wire stalag (Or hotel as it is sometimes known) you can, if you are lucky see the Hen parties doing their synchronised pis*ing inn the road

After a terrible nights sleep (due to the closing of the nearby nightclub)
You can after breakfast take a trip to the beach to watch the ritual raking of the beer cans and condoms from the sands

All this Stuart could be yours in your dream holiday in Blackpool

Well we'll know in a hours time pete (decision due at 11am)

I've no major views either way other than it should put the price of properties up in the area. So I can get out of here with a bit more money

Mauritius is a fantastic destination too. we went there in August with our two kids and had the best holiday ever
