Why is Cyprus divided?

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Viewpoint, you can have any viewpoint you want, but you can not deny some basic facts. In Cyprus there is one and only legal state, the Republic of Cyprus. There is no "Greek Cypriot Administration" or anything esle. This is fact that can not be subjected to any opinion.

A document filled with such kind of lies and twisting of facts can be nothing else than propaganda, sorry.

Why are you so offended by GC administration TCs and others refer to it in this manner because according to the 1960 consititution the "RoC" government should have TCs in it which it clearly does not. There only the GC run the "RoC". This alone does not discredit the piece which reflects our viewpoint.

If you want to split Cyprus beteween TCs and GCs thats your problem/aim. Republic of Cyprus is the state of all Cypriots which includes GCs, TCs, Armanians, Maronites, Latins and everybody else that has the Cypriot citizenship. If a minority of TCs choose to cooperate with a foreign country for the destruction of Republic of Cyprus, this doesn't change anything.

If you want to say "Administration" somewhere, then you should say "Cypriot Administration" as opposed to your "Turkish Administration" which is de facto administering the occupied areas of Cyprus.

This alone does not discredit the piece which reflects our viewpoint

This was just an example. I have read the writtings of this person before and they are filled with one sided twisting of events and lies.

Piratis we have spoken many times I really think you must by now know my opinions quite well. Partition for me is the only alternative left otherwise we will be kidding ourselves for many many more years to come that we can hammer out a solution both sides can commit to. Man we can't even open a crossing let alone run a country together we need to understand this and move on. We both belong to this island and it is your right to be here just as it mine but I do not want to live in a GC state run by GCs where I am at the mercy of the GC system. I want to rule myself and have a say in my own future, is this really wanting to much? If we cannot do this jointly then surely we must move forwards alone. GCs should be allowed to return to the TRNC or vice versa or paid compensation and the 2 states should both be recognized, you in the EU us not. Everyone should be given the freedom to settle in which side they wish but of course they would live as a minority in their chosen state under that states laws. Isnt this a solution that can work? if 20 30 eyasr down the line we want to unite we can hold a referendum and decide.
