Reads like a GC view to me.
Probably only a small majority of Brits could point to Cyprus on a world map. Only a minority know it's divided. Hardly any care that it's divided. Only a hand full know enough about the Orams, or care enough to post anything about them.
There are, on the other hand, a lot of GCs who know lots about it.
