I believe in the "freedom of speech" and open to all discussions. We can discuss issues and be sensitive to people who can not get to their homes and land. I can't stand when people "tough talk" because they are standing behind the Turkish Army. Lets show a little respect to all those who has suffered. Is it really necessary to add insult to injury. VP does this over and over again, and I'm just sick of it. We are all Cypriots, even if people do not like each other.

Cut the Propaganda and all the Bravado shit.

I think if you just broaden your tolerance level a little bit as well then we will all get along fine but please do realise that tempers flare at times and this too must be allowed for.


As far as VP goes I can understand his frustration because the people that ask him for his opinion then turn around and ridicule him. All this lip service to freedom of speech has to be practised as well.

Just do away with the PROPAGANDA SHIT: We got shit loads of other things to worry about, without having to piss around with that also. Why is is so hard to just have an open discussion, without Propaganda.??

I can't give you an example right now Zan, but we all know when we read them. Mostly repeating the same "scripted" answers to certain discussion, as if , if it's said enough times, we are going to buy into it. It's the repetition of the argument. It's just like when Bush says, "the war in Iraq is going well" or "we are winning" or "we have enough troops". They are fabricated to force feed to the public, and VP does something very similar. I tell Piratis off, when ever he goes into his 1571 and Butcher Turks and Barbarian Turks.

I do find myself repeating things many times over as well Kikapu because the person I am talking to either does not understand or I am talking to someone else that I have not said that to. I am genuinely confused on this issue except for the Piratis thing because he says it on the same thread one after the other.

Some of thes are facts but I cannot take anything before 1960 as being important because there was no republic before then and we all became proper Cypriots then. See there it is again but I don't know how else to say what I wanted to say?

Take out the following propaganda points and Viewpoint will have nothing to say:

1.Turkey saved us in 1974 from certain genocide...

2. We are nothing without Turkey,or rather we are GC food...

3. You have elected an ex-EOKA man and Turk-hater as President...

4.We don't want to be a minority in a GC run state...

5.Gc's will never share power with TCs,they want to subjugate us and assimilate us...

6. We said YES to the AP and you said NO,that proves you don't want reunification...
7. We have lived peacefully with the status quo for 33 years,that proves we cannot live together...

8.You have our land in the South and we have your land in the North...

9.We got rid of Denktash and put Talat in who has his hand of peace in the air,but Tpapa is not talking to him...

10.The RoC is not a legitimate government as it does not represent the TCs...

11. If you want to show us godwill,just remove the sanctions and isolation measures...
