How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

I was thinking today, after I read your's and Lena's posts earlier today, and I thought, why doesn't Shahmaran ask Lena out for a drink. You're both in the UK, she sounds like a lovely young lady at 22 years old, and not a easy "push over", which matches your personality, and you're at 26, sounds like a perfect match.

Go on lad, let's have one for Cyprus.

ahaha thanks Kikapu, i would love to meet her but she does live a bit far from me, im in London and she is down south, plus she is convinced that i am more Turkish (which she doesnt like) than TC :?

...women

Well, I can understand her concerns that she may think you're more Turk than a Turkish Cypriot, due to your earlier remarks, regarding the whole Cypriotness thing, and also, there are probably more Turks than TC's living in the "TRNC", so their influence will no doubt will rub on you a little. But not to worry, because us man have a way letting a woman know, who we really are. Just be yourself, a Cypriot. It's in your blood man. :D

She can't be more than an hours train ride from London, to most places in the South, unless she is in Cornwall, then I would definitely make the time to go and see her there. It is very romantic.

She is Pyr3.

Seriously now Lena put down some excellent points. The best point I liked is that the Tcs hold the key to the solution. They are the ones who can open the door both for RoC and for Turkey towards a solution.

Did I understand correctly Lena?

Lets see how your stamina holds out Pyro2 now that you have sacked Pyro1.......

This business about a key. Is that the same one that Makarioos threw in our faces and the RoC has been twisting ever since. The GCs fuck it up and then ask us to put it right. How much are you willing to pay?

Zan,

the Shakespear language for me is the last thing to worry about. You are really becoming boring.

On the matter of politics you are stuck on Makarios era. I didn't like the goat priest either. My reason is different than yours. My reason if he was a real head of the State he should have enforced law and order EVERYWHERE. Including the Eokas and the TMTs. He did nothing and here are the results.

You had dead people in the 60s we had dead people. Many of you suffered in the enclaves. What can I do? Bring the dead back? Turn the clock back and remove the suffering from your people.

Other people like you get stuck in 1974. They remember their dead. They remember their life in prisons in Adana. They remembered their raped women and daughters.
What can I do? Bring the dead back. Turn the clock back and save everybody? Change the fact that my family was living under the stairs of a building ?

Forget it man it happened nothing changes. Bad memories that I personally want to get out of my mind the soonest possible everytime they come.

If you want to wash out the sin your community did to mine and the sin my community did to yours then we have to talk with real terms what we have to offer to each other.
For me it is as simple as that.

@ Zan

I continue....
You are still holding our properties. We want them back This will wash some of your sins.
We have the economy. We will pay to bring you to same level.
You did mistakes, like bringing settlers. We will pay for those too.
You are an 18% minority. We will give you autonomy and an big part of Cyprus to govern yourselves either in Federal solution or modification of the 1960 state.
This will wash some of our sins.

This is the future.

The rest is just blah, blah.

Vicious Point,

You know, it is not polite to talk with your mouth full in that "shit hole" you dug yourself into, because you got "propaganda shit", all over your post.

"Vicious Point" has ring to it, very good..

Wont drop to your level Kikapolous...you shouldnt talk about something you know nothing about, you have not seen for yourself, obviously your assumptions are based on pure propaganda fed to you by your GC brothers.

@ VP

I haven't seen your leaders doing anything....
Did they propose anything like that? Did they for example return Varoshia to at least limit the suffering of some refugees?
On the other hand our leaders are already helping the TCs.

Vile Person,

You said, there were 250,000 citizens + 40,000 Turkish Army, living in the "TRNC". So tell me , (cover your mouth first, I dont want any "propaganda shit" all over me from your mouth) big shot, how many TC's are there, out of the 290,000 total.??
