Bonsoir Alasya,
I agree with you French is a much easier and a better language than English. When I graduated high school I COULD easily communicate in French but could not communicate at all in English. Slowly slowly however I forgot almost all my French.
Actually I started forgetting almost everything lately but thats another story....
There is one question I always wanted to ask you. What does you nickname mean? Is it the name of a place? I remember when visiting Famagusta prior to 74 we used to have our baths at "Alasya beach" . Well?
Amicalement
Mic.
Bonsoir! Alasya is my surname I didn`t know that there was a place named after me! I believe from what I have read that Cyprus was once called "Alasiya" during the time of the Pharoahs and Hittites.
My family are mostly from Larnaca district, Ayia Anna and Toxni. However we do have some reletives from Famagusta town.
