Hi Folks, lets have a laugh at me,guess who got flashed at the traffic lights in Paphos from the so called infamous speed cameras comming down the hill into Paphos this afternoon,yes yours f*ckin truely,but not for speeding..... oh no...... for going through the shitty things on amber? Question is what punishment will i have too look forward to,no wiz crack's truthful experienced answers only please.............

P.S.......Just a pitty i han'nt thought of spraying the hired motors plates with my Safe Plate anti flash numbber plate spray eh.......what a f*ckin wally,i hang my head in shame!!!

I get rid of the last of my points in September - Yay!

I was told that if you have a UK licence the Cypriot police don't bother giving points so pretend your UK licence has been lost, get another and use only 1 to get a Cyprus licence.

Ummm... highlander, wasn't it you who asked about those cameras and I said to you "yes they are the only fixed cameras in pafos, and I think they exist only to catch traffic light jumpers"....

Anyway maybe by the time they check the film the hire car will be gone back and they'll never be able to trace you... I reckon you'll get away with it highlander.

The cameras at the lights in pafos also do speeding..

And they don't trip on amber, they trip one second after red....

So it may be speeding... btw, if you have a UK licence, it will only be cash.... no points

I hate cameras in the UK , because all know that the real purpose behind every decision to install cameras is financial , and with minor exceptions cameras are purely a financial instrument of making money .The UK is I believe the only country in Europe with so many cameras. The issuing of parking tickets by cameras is so annoying , because , as I experienced recently when I stopped on double red lines , quite safely , in order to answer a call of nature in a friendly restaurant I knew , a week later a £50.00 ticket arrived.
Cameras in Cyprus I have supported and was rather surprised that it took them so long to install . We all know that driving in Cyprus is dangerous not only for the drivers and their passengers but for pedestrians too. The Cypriot driver scores very highly in the European tables of worst drivers , I believe along with Greece , Cyprus is second or third worst country for driving. We need to introduce and support moves to eradicate from our roads the imbasils , the show off idiots , the willie morons , those that desregard every rule in the book and put two fingers up to anyone reprimanding them.
