Can you find good quality LCD at the same price as a Plasma now? When I was looking for TV only some very expensive LCD had better quality from Plasma.

Sharp (I think) have produced a 2.7m LCD TV - but I did not like the colour of the remote control :-)

Saw a 102" plasma in London, at Christmas, CY£40,000; I think I will wait until they come down in price!

Would be a bugger if it broke down the day the after the warranty expires. Still, trying to picture myself playing Xbox on that monster!

Hazza, get a projector and you can play x-box on much larger screen! And you don't have to pay 40.000 either ;)

My sister recently bought a 40" LCD; it's briliant for movies, but there is noticeable blurring when watching sport, particularly football (it's to do withthe refresh rates of the different technologies). So for sport, plasma would seem to have the edge. Having said that, plasmas are heavier than LCD, and manufacturers recommend professional installation for plasmas, increasing the cost.
