I want to give one little warning to those who use personal insults as a weapon in their discussions. Just because some of us chose to be civilised in our posts does not mean we are not capable of insulting language,or we are too polite to ever utilise such weapons. There is always a line that must not be crossed as far as I am concerned. If somebody crosses that line with me or my fellow True Cypriots,I either ignore them totally from then on,or if I think they are worth the trouble, return the compliments ten folds,in a language they will never forget.

Best direct this at your good friend miltiades who appears to be one of the main culprits, once faced with an alternative viewpoint to his he resorts to personal insults which I like you after warning him not I returned with even stronger language to prove that 2 can play at that game.

I am certainly glad I was away from my computer for some time.
Being insulted is not good for your (one's health).I do however feel slightly guilty for letting down my brothers Kikapu and Miltiades by not being here to help with the fight of "True Cypriots".
I think from now on we ought to use this term a bit more often. For it is us,the True Cypriots who are fighting for the good of our homeland, our motherland,Cyprus. It is us who believe Cypriots are one people, one nation, divided by two artificial factors (like two computer softwares designed to facilitate human communication and worship -this too is something I will start harping on from now on!). The battle lines will be drawn, and we will all line up on one side or the other.
This post might seem a bit of a pointless ramble, because I have just read some 15 pages in one sitting, and my head is still spinning especially with those insults between Shah and Simon and Pyro and Viewpoint, and Zan and dear Miltiades.

You have two more days to think about what I've said. After that I will be back at my computer and keeping an eagle eye on you all miserable excuses for sensible interlocuters, miserable advocates of foreign interests,
and miserable profiteers of human pain and suffering...

Bir you should be on the payroll of this forum, you seem to be trying to drum up more business.

DT , a slight correction of your analysis of me.
I opposed the AP , have on numerous posts elaborated reasons for my rejection.
Unlike many of my G/C compatriots I do not consider Greece to be my "motherland " yes there are connections that none can deny , but my forefathers were Cypriots first and foremost.
I see all Cypriots as equal citizens and yes it is my dream to one day see a T/C as President of the ROC , elected by the people , this scenario would be the arrival to the promised land, just as a political party has embraced an Armenian who could feasibly be our next President , then a T/C committed to serving all Cypriots could be embraced by a political party made up of Cypriots. It is not that impossible .
The risk of conflict erupting on our island must be reduced therefore safety guards are required to ensure that there are True Cypriots around who would exert influence on the powers to be and avoid such a catastrophic possibility.
I visit Cyprus on a regular basis usually for a few days at a time and it saddens me when I see evidence of our continuing denial of our OWN "ethnos" , its about time that the Schools , Churches and the media in general started a Cypriot campaign aiming at removing the major obstacles that are currently in position and send the wrong message to our T/Cs compatriots. Lets expand on the one and only common factor that we have , and that can only be CYPRUS.

Miltiades

This is the person that you should stick to being. Put away the stick and concentrate your campaign. Except the fact that you will get opposition and aggressive posts along the way. When I say concentrate your campaign I mean don't take it on your self to fix the entire problem on your own. Your words here are far more effective than a hundred posts you made with anger. I have told you before that ideally I would like to see a united Cyprus but have come to the conclusion that it is not practical. That is my prerogative. I saw you as a peacekeeper and it does frustrate me that in nearly all cases the peacekeeper turns aggressor. Look at Birs last post. He has now drawn a line and is ready to fight even though for years he has been saying that conflict is not the right way to go about it. I am satisfied and disappointed that my fears are coming to light.

I think Bir is tired of trying to talk sense to bunch of lemons, so he might as well squeeze some and at least make some lemon juice out of it, which is more useful than just having bunch a lemons sitting on the shelf. :!:

In Cyprus there are donkies.
You tell the donkey "move", it just won't hear.
Move my lovely donkey come on! nothing happens.
Come on donkey move please, we have to go to work...

But hey, when you say"MOVE DAMN IT STUPID DONKEY" and at the same time strike a good LASH on its ass, there you go.

The donkey runs faster than the fastest horse.

Ok before I am accused of insulting all of you by implying that people are donkies...

Of course they are not, on the other hand there are similarities....
