Nationality vs. Ethnicity

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Postby miltiades » Sat Jan 27, 2007 10:04 pm

Never once have I deviated from my very first post in calling the T/Cs my compatriots , my brothers and sisters , maybe because having lived overseas for so many years and having forged close relationships with T/Cs is the reason why. I have remonstrated with many on this forum , most have been G/Cs like Alexander , Issy , Malaka , Scotzeza and others. But NEVER did I call anyone a G/C shit or T/C turd , words that the almighty partitionist has used to describe me, his hatred for the G/Cs is evidently crystal clear . The guy is full of hatred for his fellow Cypriots , never once did he acknowledge my genuine feelings towards my fellow Cypriots , instead he will dig deep into the past and like a rat pull out the dirt to satisfy his insatiable appetite for spewing hatred towards his fellow Cypriots.

Kikapu suspected you are on someones payroll…

My observation is this: In each and every post of yours there is a pre-recorded list of cliches that you repeat. Now if someone else prepared you that agenta and ask you to include at least one of those points in each and every post, or whether you prepared it yourself, is something I don’t know. The fact is however that you have a very specific agenda that you repeat in each and every post. And it is not the typical recycling that most of us in here do, it is something much more elaborate.

I spotted this when in every two posts you were repeating this cliche " How can we live with those people. Even the thought is scaring. " Should I point out that after I spotted it you striked it immediately out? Was that accidental? Hmmmmm…..

Just looking back at the last 5 posts of yours I was able to once again spot 3 of your usual agenta points. None of them is even partially true, however it does reflect on the fears and insecurities of some TC people. Your contant repeatition aims in my opinion at embeding them as deep as possible on the general TC community and everyone who watches this forum without participating.

I present them herebelow. And I urge other people in here to start taking you seriously and do some systematic work in collecting your agenda points and exposing them in this forum. Notice the similarity of No 3 to No1.

1.
There is a clear power struggle here where the GCs want to use their numerical superioirty to turn Cyprus into one GC state with TCs as just another minority

2.

Typical GC warped mentality they start trouble and then blame someone else for retaliating, the same in the 1960s nothing has changed

3.

as their ulitimate goal is not a solution but total control of the whole island, sharing is not a word they find easy to consume as they have what they want a GC state, we are just an inconvenience to them getting hteir hands on the other 37%, thats all they really want, all this brotherly love fabrication is persuade you to swallow the minority pill

Whats the matter now didnt you like some of your own medicine, you should heed warnings like in 1974 if you play with a bomb you cannot restrict the result of the explosion, you were warned but you chose to continue your personal insults and I again warned you that I will do worse but you continued, the end result is your own doing.

"Genuine feelings" towards your TC brothers where were they in 1963? when they needed it most you rat, or do you find brotherly love now you want to take back the north and control the whole island funny how that so called love seems to go and return as events change.

Same old crap same old rubbish same old VP , head buried in a bowl of poisonous hatred swimming around in circles , in 1963 he says , let us see I was 17 years old , he wasnt even born. Your true colours are exhibited for all to see , and further more I do have broad shoulders so any further insults from you just bounce off . I treat you as a thoroughly lost soul full of bubbles with no real purpose in life other than hate your fellow Cypriots . Well I do not hate you , I find your views obnoxious and derogatory but I honestly would love to meet you face to face and share a drink with you , talk not hate as you appear to do. I know your answer >>> 1963 , 33 years , massacres extermination EOKA ETC ETC

First of all, I'm not easily persuaded by anyone. If a "TC's brother" can't do it, to pull me to his side, to go with the partition, surely the "GC enemy" that imprisoned me and my family for a week in 1963, most definitely won't be able to do it.

VP, I'm not saying to surrender to the GC's demands. I'm saying to reach an long lasting solution, by negotiations. Is Talat pushing any initiatives with PapaD, or do we wait until PapaD or the UN makes offers. Is there as much energy put into a peaceful settlement as there is for Partition, by the TC's. I don't know, so I will rely on me to tell me this.

If you to were to live the Cyprus issue on a daily basis you to would be like the majority of TCs on this island "davullun sesi uzaktan tatli gelir" the sound of the drum from a distance sounds sweet.

Negotiations, you are now taking the piss, 44 years on and look where we are today, further away than ever to finding solution. Talat is under more restrictions than Tassos and is it him that should be illustrating "brotherly love" but how can he is an ex eoka Turk hater who using the EU to get what he wants. Talat takes the intiative and bring down the bridge what do we get in return a barrage of excuses, its not a one way street.

Negotiaitons to unite have reached a brick wall as it has proven to be to complicated as both sides want different things, lets creat a level playing field so we are 2 equal sides and then sit down and negotiate, why are GCs so scared to allow us what they fit for themselves, I suggest we make moves to bring equality to both sides no army, reduction of settlers/immigrants both sides, recognized airports both sides etc?

As long as you occupy the homes and properties of 200,000 GCs, and deny them the right to have access to them and make use of their perspective incomes, there is no way a level playing field can be created. If you want to include in your above suggested parameters, the unconditional return of the GC properties that you illegally occupy, then perhaps your calls for a level playing field would be more sincere. There can be no level playing field, when one side occupies the properties of the other. Did you just forget this fact?
