In that site shah you will discover that about 700 TCs were killed between 1960-74 and about 400 GCs. Yes you are right the majority were burried in massgraves. Not only the TCs but the GCs as well.

In 1974 the GCs had 6000 dead within a month and 1500 still missing (obviously dead).
Let me ask you a simple question: Do you think those 7500 GCs were burried in individual graves or in mass graves?

You are a smart young man and I am sure you know know the answer.

If with the number 6000 you are refering to the website in question, then it does not state which side they belong to, it simply states that 6000 died during 74, so i presume its the total number of casualties, and im sure there are plenty of Turks missing too...however Pyr im not going to get into your little number games, yes Turkey's intervention might have been very violent but then thats again simply looking at the effect while ignoring the cause, no one is denying all the dead Greeks, but u cant blame us for defending oursevles either, which seems to be the part most Greeks are in denial with, end of!

It is more than obvious you did not read the website my friend. The number of 6000 are the GC dead. As for the cause after you read the website you quote me what it says.

So there are two Pyrs! DUMDUMDUMDUM! or maybe one Pyr with multiple personalities that he developed during the conflict, where the dominant side is a TC and the submissive side a GC! DUMDUMDUMDUM!

"....Mid-August, Collapse of peace talks in Geneva: Second Turkish military intervention in August in which 6,000 die; Turks control of 37% of island; between 150,000 and 200,000 GC refugees take flight. Return of Makarios in autumn."
