Yes we must be MAD...

We bought all the gear last week, the Quad Bike is ready so Matthew (my nephew) and I are off camping this weekend...

Not 'totally' sure where we will end up, but we are heading up into the Troodos range.

Jo (wife) thinks I'm having a mid-life crisis :roll:

I know it doesn't toooooo cold in Cyprus but it sure will in Troodos if anywhere. Hope you come out of it alright :P

OMG deff midlife crisis, im sure you wont stick it out more than 2 hours in a freezing tent. Keep us informed ,and good luck! (deff agree with the Zivania part) also take pastourmades (hot sausages), vodka, lots of blankets and gloves.

good man, I miss camping, used to go all the time when i was back in the UK, load up the bikes then off into wales for the weekend, started 22feb every month through to 5th november. ah them were the days. your not having a mid-life crisis mate, your living life.

...UPDATE FOR YOU ALL...

The front loading bay of the Quad is loaded with 'Keo Beer'...

Under the seat is the dried pasta, tuna cup-a-soups & of course H20.

The tent is strapped to the back rack, as are the sleeping bags.

In the rucksack is extra clothes, blankets, cooker, pans & KFS etc.

Extras: Rambo Knife, compass, matches & fire starters, glow sticks, map, mobile phone, camera, fags, did I say beer?

One thing I can't understand? Jo had the insurance guy round this afternoon, to take out a new policy????????????????????

See you ALL (I HOPE) on Sunday or Sat' if it gets to cold....
