Does anyone here on the brain trust know if there are a list or ideally a map showing of all the private airfields and aerodromes suitable for light aircraft in Cyprus available?

NO it will not be the AFF intense course. It's the longer weekend course (keep the wives happy) but still giving you the Class A licence at the end.

I will be getting all the details today, or you can call Pelham direct on 99 60 34 84 (he's in Paphos).

Yes, I emember that now you speak of it.

Someone mentioned an airfield just off the Limassol - Larnaca motorway where it intersects with the Nicosia turnoff.

Does anyone have any info on this?

Is it an old military airfield?

I cannot seem to locate it via Google earth.

Its right on the highway, its a straight strip of highway which can be used as a landing strip for military aircraft.

Also there is one in Dechelia called Kingsfield, but mostly used for Sail Planes.
