"No really, which ones are the Turks?"

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Does playing a fps game and always choose to play on the allied side make you an anti-German racist?

Man do you know those killed between 1960-74 are less than those killed in road accidents?

Where did you get these figures from? whats your independent source or have you just plucked them from where the sun dont shine?

haha Zan!! at last some recognition towards the right direction! thank you for your inspiring and encouraging words!

i do have to aggree with you there, massgraves full of innocent civilians (meaning everyone BUT the ppl who are fit to fight) is tad little more then a mission to disarm the enemy, its more like a fear and panic driven desperate attempt to finish off what they came for, kind of reminds me of Hitler who boosted the work at the concentration camps when he realized that he was loosing the war....and no i am not comparing "evilness" just situations....

Kifeas the GC were attacking long beofre the Turkish came, i was only talking about the massgraves being produced during the Turkish invasion, but before that busses full of Greeks were coming into the village and calling for all villagers to meet in the center, once the violence had settled down the villagers (including members of my family) had found the graves ready to be used just outside Lefke.

To cut the story short, they definately were not acting on any strategic reasons, well maybe they were but clearly not the obvious one youre talking about....

Yes both sides have sensitivities to deal with. Both sides have suffered and it is a mistake on both parts for anyone to think they are the only ones with losses and pain. I have to say, there are people whose posts I don't read anymore, I just skim them to make sure they are not out of line, just because they are always filled with venom. I would like to see some clever arguments coming from both sides every now and then that's all I guess.

The first two are for the Cyprus conflict web-site.
The third is also from there if you add up the 4 TC villages were massacres occured Tohni Sanalar Aloe etc.
The fourth shouldnt concern you because it does not refer to TC "genocide"

Kifeas wrote:This is what I wrote:
What did you expect the GCs to do, once Turkey started its invasion, and the largest part of the National Guard was engaged around all the various armed TC enclaves spread around Cyprus? Isn't it natural that among the first things they would want to do, would be to take over and disarm the enclaves, since they were potentially acting as bridgeheads of the Turkish invading forces, especially those situated in areas near the coast lines such as Lefka, Limnitis, Kazivera and kokkina, so that they disengage those valuable forces and shift them towards the defending of the coastline where the mainland Turkish troops were landing?

And this is how this piece of shit twisted and presented it:

zan wrote: The eleven years our people were kept in enclaves means nothing to them and for people like Kifeas to say “what did you expect us to do, they were potential enemy”. Is just sickening to say the least.

Still can't see the difference. :?:
