"No really, which ones are the Turks?"

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Does playing a fps game and always choose to play on the allied side make you an anti-German racist?

Miltiades and Kifeas, why dont you guys give up on this prick? Discussions of his kind only bring hatred with no resolution. Turkish politics obviously is embedded in mostly all of them. Until Turkey's ambitions becomes mainstream with the world, they'll never change. I give you guys credit for the discussions you bring to the forum so others can learn what this problem is all about, but when you deal with stone age mentality, nothing will get through when you talk about civilized issues with barbaric thieves.

Shahmaran, if I spoke about the Olympics, or football, or sports in general; I did so because it is always on equal terms -i.e., a 1 to 1, or a 5 to 5, or an 11 to 11 “battle,” and with the same rules of engagement for both sides; and not a war of 7 to 1, or a 100 to 1 like the case of Turkey and Cyprus in 1974, with unequal terms, means and rules of engagement, like the biggest country using state of the art weaponry from NATO, and the other -the smallest one, some vintage weapons from first and second world war.

Anyhow, for me it is only enough that you declared and defended your Cypriotness above, and on this basis I will accept your invitation to keep it friendly.

PS: Which genocide are you talking about, the Armenian one?

growuptc im not even going to bother answering you, u seem the biggest hypocrit around.

Kifeas yes i do totally aggree with you but i was not refering to the batter between turkey and GC but TC and GC, that was not on fair grounds, and the genocide im talking about is the TCs burried in mas graves! dont tell me u dont know anything about it? u cant seriously be assuming that Turkey intervened on pure greed and barbarism? unfortunately its not so simple, GC and Greeks have commited some serious crimes in cyprus up until the moment Turkey intervened, these are the ones i wanted to discuss all along, and the way everyone is ignoring them is what making me think that im faced against a bunch of ignorant people! plz tell me someone understands where im coming from..

Shahmaran,

There is too too much ignorance in you believe me. I am not going to argue with you, I will just let you teach yourself slowly slowly and one day you will discover how much your present ignorance is. I am telling you only one thing: They made you beleive all the required excuses so you could not feel shame or regret for the ethnic cleansing of the GCs.

About war and your arguments that the Turks have balls whereas the Greeks don't. Lets assume you are right. Lets assume the Turks have balls of the size of a water mellon. Fine.
What is a Turk with that huge ball going to do when a bomb explodes in his feet? What is he going to do when a bullet strikes his head? Survive just because he has balls?
I bet you also beleive the Iraqis have bigger balls than the Americans.

So my friend "balls" today don't count. What counts is money, weaponry, technology, allies, and of course OIL.

Pyroplizer im not going to get into your silly metaphors and i aggre so were mine, its funny coz i happen to think ure ignorant too, u seem to act like greeks have never commited any genocide on the TC. how can u deny this ? are u this blind to the turkish cause? u seriously cant believe that we are all evil bastards who do everything for greed and nothing else?

yes ethnic cleansing is bad but not as horrible as genocide, and this is why i dont feel bad about lost PROPERTY! i do feel bad about a lost nation tho!

Btw I am not saying the above to say the Turks are inferior or superior to Greeks in wars. I wish no war in Cyprus, or between Greece and Turkey, all I want to say is today "balls" don't count.

The definition of Genocide against thew TCs by sahramaran

700 TCs +400 GCs killed between 1960-1974
240 TCs +6000 GCs killed during the Turkish Invasion

Man do you know those killed between 1960-74 are less than those killed in road accidents?

About which serious crimes are you talking about, that "GCs and Greeks have committed some serious crimes in Cyprus up until the moment Turkey intervened?" Can you be a bit more specific, with dates and places? Are you talking about the 1963/64 period of intercommunal conflict and fighting, in which yes indeed crimes did occur by thugs of both sides acting outside the control of the official leaderships, and during which indeed the TCs had more losses (800 vs. 400) but this cannot be regarded as a genocide as you describe it?

Genocide is the systematic, organized annihilation campaign by one ethnic group against another, which results in the complete or almost complete annihilation of a people from an entire area or a country. Are you saying that this thing happened in Cyprus against the TC community, by the GC community? If so, when did it happen, and why the UN Security council or any other international organization such as the council of Europe, amnesty international, etc, or any other foreign government such as the US or the UK that was also a guarantor power -with bases in Cyprus, never mentioned, marked, condemned or commented against it, as such (a genocide,) in any of their official reports or statements at the time, or even afterwords?

PS: Mass graves also exist plenty, of GCs in the north during the 1974 invasion, yet we never used the term genocide to describe what Turkey did in Cyprus in 1974.

shahmaran,

I have no problem YOU considering me an ignorant because I know I am not, and there are many TCs in this forum who know both sides of the story and know I am not.
You make yourself look ridiculous with what you are saying.

see thats the best part! it was not only during 63/64, only in my village the GC and the Greek army were still operating in full force trying to wipe everyone out like the othe villages around, while the Turks were fighting in Girne, u guys are blind to most of the details or u chose to ignore i do not know....and yes thank you i do know what genocide means :) u might not liek to use it but we r the minority, and Pyrpolizer i suggest u get your numbers straight, coz on our side up until the Turks came the numbers are around 2500, so yes maybe its time YOU guys learn the other side of the story, coz i have heard yours a billion times already...soon it will be printed on milk cartons or something....
