SERIOUS ACCUSATIONS AGAINST MILTIADES

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

I agree with you on this one Zan. I do not see the attraction at all, to sit through the whole show. Those who can sing, they have already made it in the "real world", and those who appear are "starving singers", will remain "starving singers" after the competition is over, and that goes for the winner also.!!!

ABBA was an exception of course, as well as Celine Dion.

Kikapu I agree with you on the quality of the E Songs , but would it not be wonderful if the song was sung by a G/Cs as well as T/Cs , perhaps in English or Greek and Turkish , show the world that Cyprus has Greek Cypriots but it has Turkish Cypriots also.
Let us hope that maybe next year .

Yes, of course it would be great Miltiades. In fact a lot of things will be great, if they just did it.

I was given a pre-recorded cassette tape 10 years ago by a family member, which remains to be one of my favourite music today. It is sang by a Greek / Turkish speaking Greek singer, and some of the songs are in both languages, and it sounds just fantastic. I think his Name or the album is "FEDON", or something like that. See if you can get a copy from somewhere. If not, I'll make you a copy and mail it to you.

Terzis has some mixed songs that really touch me.

One says:

Pes mou poso that kratisi (Tell me how long will it last)
O ilios ap tin disi...

And then says

Soyle nekadar sureje...

Anyone who has the full lyrics?

Kikapu , would love to find this song , as you know years ago I was a bouzouki player and our drummer and organist were T/Cs , lost touch with them after all these years but still see my old mate Pantelis who is still a guitarist in various bands. Will ask him I'm sure he will know this number.

The control is in the hands of the GCs, thats why it will never be done.

VP , We should remind the relative organizers that just as the Cyprus pound , the ID card and all other government documents incorporate the T/Cs , so should the selection for the Eurovision song include T/Cs.
I for one will send an email to the organizers , perhaps some one would help with an address.

You think they give a shit, they didnt even bother to respond to my emails...never in the history of Eurovsion song contest entries has Cyprus ever send a Turkish CYpriot singer or song, this shows the GC mentality perfectly, they want to maintain the illusion that Cyorus is a Greek island.
