Thats where you fail to see the mentality of your own community even these small issues are manipulated in their favor and brushed under the carpet by saying "its only the eurovision for christ sake, don't take everything so seriously"

If its not that serious why havent you sent a Turkish Cypriot song or singer?

Trust me, its not a big issue over here. I'll say it again I would not mind at all if it was a TC every year. We'd probably win if we did that this year cause they'd reward us for reaching out to you.

They have done, they dont get through the processing. Who on earth would vote for a TC singer singing Turkish song in the south? to represent them, you would be lucky to get .00001% of the vote.

That's a great idea, you would get the sympathy votes from all over Europe and may even win. Can you imagine the brownie points the GCs would win, it would be a great political and PR triumph for GCs.

Maybe you should try a song in English sang by a TC. That way people can understand the words. I think that is a big issue. You want the majority to vote for it so the majority needs to understand it. Other than that I don't think they will care who sings it.

You wanna bet, get a TC singer and give them even a Greek song they would get the minimum of votes even if it was the best song. CYBC havent got the balls to do anything like that.
