Jees you ppl. Fact - the pontians and the squaddies got pissed and decided to have a fight. Suaddies have a rep for getting pissed and loosing their rag with anything that moves, be it locals, wives etc. and Potians are known for getting into fights if anyone offers.

I do not suppose Cyprus regards the UK as a strategic location for a base, but there are US bases in the UK, far larger than the SBAs in Cyprus.

And until a few years ago we had a German regiment at a permant base in South Wales.

And of course not to mention a sizable amount of Greek Cypriots who have joined the British army over the Years.

That's true.... and I'm glad you mentioned it, as it reminds me.... I need to go on to a UK forum to campaign for kicking all the americans out of britain.

No actually what I want to see is UK bases in the states. Yes, that's what we need, that's only fair right? Actually lets just go out and kill a few americans while we are here, that will even up the numbers a bit.

Now, fortunately I respect the rules of this forum. And it is because of this reason that I would never say something like (Anti-)European666 is either on some permanent wind-up, or is a nucking futter!
