Here is a little something for you to consider in your spare time miltiades, your assessment of my person which has borne the whip of your tongue without complaint for so long.
You describe me as an ignorant moron, a bearded G/C, full of hatred, skinned (I presume you meant skint, without money?), ugly, unhappy,
etc, etc, and so on.
You have hurled abuse at me severally (as seems to be your general style in any event), you have offered insult without exception to any who are not of your opinion, you have insulted both my intelligence and my integrity throughout our exchanges and have informed me that you have chewed up and spat out the likes of me, more times than I have shaved and again so on and on.
miltiades, you do not know me, the fact that you are prepared to venture into the unknown so readily astounds me since it displays more of your own character than it does of mine.
Consider your position now my friend, you may anger a stranger, only a complete fool would do such a thing don't you agree?.

:? :? :? :? :?

miltiades (I use the small case lettering since that is how you have set your avatar, no other reason), as a follow up to my previous post, an interesting notion has crossed my mind and I would like to offer you the opportunity of response since you have often sought to present yourself as a worldly man, you have variously indicated the fact that you are not a religious person and that fact lends weight to my enquiry.
Sir, have you ever taken the time to read the Qu'aran (Koran)?, perhaps a small part of it even, I ask you this simply because you have stated that you have many T/C friends and I am curious to know if they have embraced the faith of Islam, if they have, I must commend them for their patience in entertaining your friendship for so long,
if they have not, may I suggest that you should all glance through it and learn a little more about the value of life.
I raise this point specifically on account of the fact that you have suggested that I condone the actions of 'suicide bombers', I do not accept your contention and must add that to the long list of insults you have subjected me to.
My views have always been quite clear on all my responses and I will briefly explain some simple points for you which may verify that statement. I am a person who endeavours to UNDERSTAND the actions of people, that does not mean that I am in concert with them, I look for the REASONS for why people are prepared to sacrifice their lives, I can appreciate the DESPERATION they must feel for taking such action and am able to determine where the root causes are. The Qu'aran clearly defines it's views on the value of ALL living things, I am not the man to
pit my wits against it's teachings, your constant barrages of abuse suggest that you may consider yourself fit to do so. Do try to be a little more gentle with your language sir, it is most unpleasant and totally unacceptable to most members I am sure, more so for a man of your advancing years.

And here Eliko is my answer:
I have said it before and I will say it again. I believe that religion is the cancer that eats away at humanity and has indeed been doing so for thousands of years. I do not believe in the existence of God having formulated this belief as a very young man.I m glad that I live in the West and I'm free to believe or not to , unlike in some third world countries where the penalty for not believing is death. I do not as a rule discuss religious matters , suffice to say from the start , I do not believe , you go ahead and do so.No one stops you from practicing your faith and no one has the right to prohibit me from abstaining , religious bigots consider it their divine right to harshly criticize any one who does not share their beliefs , when on the hand I do so I become the nasty of the forum.
I will spell it out to you. The Christians of Bosnia were massacring the Muslims , the Muslims of Iraq , and Palestine as of late , are massacring their own people , You Eliko tries to understand these actions , i on the hand do not have to understand their reasons .I KNOW THE REASONS. Hatred and more hatred based on religious and ethnic reasons the two predominant cancers of the world. Do you also try to understand the actions of a child molester , a pedophile , a mass murderer , I do not . I know what these people are .
The same for those brainwashed , mentally raped young people who committed mass murder by crashing aircraft full of innocent people driven by a sick ideology and a warped interpretation of their faith.

My Muslim friends know my position on religion , I have read the Bible as a young man , despise the cruelty and the mass murders ATTRIBUTED BY THE WRITERS to God and his angels on innocent people (EXODUS)
Religion should be about love , peace , compassion , forgiveness , respect of the sancity of life and above all tolerance. Can you recommend a good religious book that contains all that, or can point me to a religious nation that practices any of the above .
I bet not .

Buddism...

also i dissaggree Miltiades, i believe there is a reason for everything, including peadophilia, marterdom, serial killing etc. and if we dont understand them then we will never be able to defeat them.

Americas way of dealing with such situations is the same as a father beating up his kid who suffers from mental disorders, it just makes things worse.
