When someone does not like to challenge what he is been taught, then inevitably he sides to the myths.
Just food for thought: Assume there was no Enosis or Taksim dream. The British are about to leave the island.... You tell me the rest VP.
Thank you, much appreciated shows you have a human side after all. But ignoring certain issues and turning them into myths does not make them go away, it only creates negativity and misunderstanding.
In your scenario I would have liked to have seen a united Cyprus flourish with no discrimination or second class citizens where both communities worked together for a better future for all who live on this beautiful island. Are we creating myths and dreams again? the reality stares us directly in the face, we "Cypriots" are not capable of doing any of the above. The saying you can put a saddle on a donkey but it don't make it a horse come to mind. Or oil and water just don't mix, the sooner we all realize this the better is will be for everyone to let go and let both sides get on with their lives.
