NO T/C WAS KILLED BY G/Cs 5 YEARS BEFORE TURKISH INVASION

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

@VP.

Where did I say it had nothing to do with what you said? In fact I said exactly the opposite. The WHOLE truth must be said VP. And the truth was not just that, it was ALSO what Turkey and your fanatic leadership wanted on the first place. There were millions of ways to achieve that, should our lunatics were not doing the job better than anybody.

Which came first enosis or taksim?? Im sure you can work out the rest.

VP were you talking to your self are is it again a case of the kettle calling the pot black. I'm certain you have a list of answers given to you by your masters and you just print them of as required. Your arguments are less than pathetic.

Sure mosquito boy.
25,000 are one fifth of 120,000.
Therefore 4/5ths of the TCs were NOT in enclaves. Therefore the claim that the TCs were squeezed in 3% of the land ALL living in enclaves is A LIE.

Their timing is completely irrelevant. Turkey had claims over Cyprus from as back as 1878 when they handled it to the British, GCs wanted Enosis from the 1900s when they saw other Greek islands joining.
The claim that if Enosis dream was not on the scene there wouldn't be any taksim dream, is just one of the many myths they taught you.

In my opinion as soon as when it became evident the British would leave both Turkey and Greece started working to annex the island.The 1974 invasion was considered by the Turks the first step. Unluckily the Anglo-Americans did not allow them to take all Cyprus.

The timing is very relevant as the the enosis dream fuelled taksim. the opportunity for a 1 united Cyprus for all Cypriots was missed in 1960 and the events that followed are now history. Imo opinion anything you wish to discredit or have difficulty accepting you put down to being a myth, how convenient.

Alright VP you are entitled to your opinion.

When someone does not like to challenge what he is been taught, then inevitably he sides to the myths.
Just food for thought: Assume there was no Enosis or Taksim dream. The British are about to leave the island.... You tell me the rest VP.

Having received your acceptance of the fact that no T/C or G/C was killed NINE YEARS BEFORE THE TURKISH INVASION, I rest my case.

Thank you, much appreciated shows you have a human side after all. But ignoring certain issues and turning them into myths does not make them go away, it only creates negativity and misunderstanding.

In your scenario I would have liked to have seen a united Cyprus flourish with no discrimination or second class citizens where both communities worked together for a better future for all who live on this beautiful island. Are we creating myths and dreams again? the reality stares us directly in the face, we "Cypriots" are not capable of doing any of the above. The saying you can put a saddle on a donkey but it don't make it a horse come to mind. Or oil and water just don't mix, the sooner we all realize this the better is will be for everyone to let go and let both sides get on with their lives.
