Euro & property prices?

Whats going to happen to property prices in Cyprus when it converts to the euro in 2008????

My opinion:
i) I believe Cyprus interest rates will go down, weaking the Cyprus £ against other currencies, making prices loewer for foreign buyers.
ii) There is a lot of black money hidden under matresses which will have to be spent on high value items - cars/land/property.
Both these will cause prices to rise.

Property prices follows an upward trend and I think this trend will continue after 2008.
