You have been allowed to progress since 1960 we have not. Lift the embargoes and let us catch up and then we can negotiate as equals. Until then we can only surrender the little we have and that is unacceptable. If you refuse to acknowledge that then I see this going nowhere. We cannot go back to a position of Greek supremacy on the island, we have been given the chance to taste the freedom we deserve by GC intransigence and we can no longer go back to being the service providers for the GC majority. If you cannot see a danger in that then that is not my problem but yours. Throwing wise cracks about does nothing to achieve the unity that you want but strengthens the division that I think is more sensible and practical with a dismissive attitude like yours and many many GCs.
So you think you are in a position to put down terms and tell us that you will negotiate after your terms are oblidged?
Go ahead man, what's stoping you? All you will manage is just keep the current situation.
@VP.
Negotiations on that basis will not end up to something like the 1963. They will end up to something like 2007. Can you tell the difference?
Current situation of???????? GC land being built on and a slow but steady building of infrastructure. Other countries looking into ways of providing us with direct flights etc etc etc. We might not get what we want from you but there is more than one way to skin a cat. Slower but in the end surer. I must congratulate you pyro because try as I might I cannot do a better job than you at securing partition. Which nut house would you like me to send the cheque?
Excellent post zan the man is doing the "Cypriot" cause more damage than good, we will keep you wanting a solution by restricting your rights mentality will never pay dividends and cause a wider rift, time to accept that we to deserve to be treated with equal rights as the EU UN USA UK have all acknowledged and in time will take those steps you will regret not addressing first.
