Leonidas wrote:WOULDN'T IT BE GREAT TO TURN ON THE TV AND HEAR THE U.S. PRESIDENT GIVE

THE FOLLOWING SPEECH?

My Fellow Americans: As you all know, the defeat of the Iraq regime

has been completed.

Since congress does not want to spend any more money on this war, our

mission in Iraq is complete.

This morning I gave the order for a complete removal of all American

forces from Iraq This action will be complete within 30 days. It is now

time to begin the reckoning.

Before me, I have two lists. One list contains the names of countries

which have stood by our side during the Iraq conflict. This list is

short. The United Kingdom , Spain , Bulgaria , Australia , and Poland

are some of the countries listed there.

The other list contains everyone not on the first list. Most of the

world's nations are on that list. My press secretary will be

distributing copies of both lists later this evening.

Let me start by saying that effective immediately, foreign aid to those

nations on List 2 ceases immediately and indefinitely. The money saved

during the first year alone will pretty much pay for the costs of the

Iraqi war.

The American people are no longer going to pour money into third world

Hellholes and watch those government leaders grow fat on corruption.

Need help with a famine? Wrestling with an epidemic? Call France .

In the future, together with Congress, I will work to redirect this

money toward solving the vexing social problems we still have at home.

On that note, a word to terrorist organizations Screw with us and we

will hunt you down and eliminate you and all your friends from the face

of the earth.

Thirsting for a gutsy country to terrorize? Try France, or maybe China .

I am ordering the immediate severing of diplomatic relations with France

, Germany , and Russia . Thanks for all your help, comrades. We are

retiring from NATO as well! Bon chance, mes amis.

I have instructed the Mayor of New York City to begin towing the many UN

diplomatic vehicles located in Manhattan with more than two unpaid

parking tickets to sites where those vehicles will be stripped, shredded

and crushed. I don't care about whatever treaty pertains to this. You

creeps have tens of thousands of unpaid tickets. Pay those tickets

tomorrow or watch your precious Benzes, Beamers and limos be turned over to some of the finest chop shops in the world. I love New York .

A special note to our neighbors. Canada is on List 2. Since we are

likely to be seeing a lot more of each other, you folks might want to

try not pissing us off for a change.

Mexico is also on List 2. President Fox and his entire corrupt

government really need an attitude adjustment. I will have a couple

extra tank and infantry divisions sitting around. Guess where I am going

to put em? Yep, border security.

Oh, by the way, the United States is abrogating the NAFTA treaty -

starting now.

We are tired of the one-way highway. Immediately, we'll be drilling for

oil in Alaska - which will take care of this country's oil needs for

decades to come. If you're an environmentalist who opposes this

decision, I refer you to List 2 above: pick a country and move there.

They care.

It is time for America to focus on its own welfare and its own citizens.

Some will accuse us of isolationism. I answer them by saying, "darn

tootin."

Nearly a century of trying to help folks live a decent life around the

world has only earned us the undying enmity of just about everyone on

the planet. It is time to eliminate hunger in America . It is time to

eliminate homelessness in America . To the nations on List 1, a final

thought. Thank you guys. We owe you and we won't for get.

To the nations on List 2, a final thought: You might want to learn to

speak Arabic.

God bless America . Thank you and good night.

If you can read this, thank a teacher. If you are reading it in English,

thank a soldier.

Leonidas,
i think this is a brilliant post. if you ever decided to run for president, i'd vote for you!

One thing I always think strange when people slag off the USA is that they are usually still quite happy to drink coca-cola, watch MTV, visit a McDonald's drive-thru, etc. etc....

.... Just an observation!

Gorilla I am as small as your so called president and I make no apologies just like you do not make any apologies about all the innocent live that your army has taken in Iraq.

Also Mr D, I do not watch MTV not even Will n Grace I find American TV absolutely boring and not funny at all, give me British comedy and the story is different, I do not have Mc Donald's because the Americans have worked out a good system where they go and destroy thousands of year old forrests to keep the cows they slauter for a burger and I eat organic food grown on smalll scale farming that does not require the destruction of the environment. ..... so do us a favour get back to your MTV.

What a truly adequate observation you have made Pete_D, it is widely known that 'Coca Cola' is bad for health, it is a curse to young children and can cause serious problems (Hyper Activity) being one of many, bad teeth another and so on. As to MacDonald's, any fool knows that this product is 'King of the junk foods', if you need evidence of that you merely have to look at the typical middle aged American male, slobbering and over-weight, shuffling about stuffing his face with even more junk food, I think you shot yourself in the foot on that one son, you have highlighted two examples of American nonsense, there are millions more and I can assure the 'Hyper Active' monkey that there is no chance of my choking on either item of her country's staple diet, I think they are also very detrimental to the brain, perhaps a cursory glance through a good medical journal will confirm the above.

Nice to see a normal educated person in this forum. Thank you but I can not run for president because I was not born in the best country in the world.

The day will come when all of you socialist, liberal, anti-Americans will
wake up and realize that there are no conspiracy theories. It is all a propaganda from your socialist Government.

I was there in May during the so called "elections". The biggest joke of democracy I 've ever seen. Your PARTIES run you. Face it. Why do you HAVE to vote Vertical and not across parties? I experienced the DIRTY games played between the parties and within the same parties. It was sickening.

At least in the USA one can vote for the candidate, whether he or she is a Democrat Republican or independent.

TRY to convince your parties to do the same. You have a president that has LESS than 20% votes. And you bitch about Bush that had 49% the 1st round and majority of the electoral vote, and majority of votes and electorate the second time.

Oh you think we should had waited for approval from the UN to go after what intelligence (NOT JUST American) had shown, of a dictator that ALREADY used WMD's against his own people. We did not ask for the WTC or the pentagon to be demolished. MY daughter was at the WTC the week before on a school trip. YOUR heroes went after civilians from 60 PLUS countries.

HOW many years has it been since 1974 when the UNITED NATION acted on the resolutions AGAINST Turkey? You think we would had waited that long for them to make up their mind and "enforce" the resolutions against IRAQ???? Give me a break. We ARE not going to wait for them morons to do something for 32 years.

Oh poor Sadam. We made a mistake to oust him. He was SUCH a nice guy. Our mistake was to realize that we where dealing with ARABS who could not and still can not get along. They are so brainwashed that even a cartoon from a Danish newspaper was enough to show how DUMB they are.

The old Greek saying is still true
"Don araby kian don plinis, to sabouni sou halas"
Translation (You are just wasting your soap when you try to wash an Arab)

And enough about the 1974 war. I was there and I lived it. We had it coming when Makarios was making friends with "mother Russia" and was pushing away the USA. You think that the USA would had allowed a communist Russian base in Cyprus? Especially during the COLD WAR??? The "Castor" of the Mediteranian is the one and only to be blamed for the 1974 war.

GOD bless America.!!!
