Another Cyprus "Tsunami" Disaster?

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Re Brother have you ever seen a civilised army? Furthermore did you do any military service youself? I did, and every GC or TC in this forum who dis the same, can tell you the army officers are the biggest idiots on Earth. It doesn’t matter if they are Greek Turkish British or anything. They are all the same! After they leave their camps the majority of them spend their time on anything the underground world can offer, cabarets, betting shops, bars, prostitutes etc. When I was a kid I asked my grandpa, if those who become Army Officers are the brave and the strong. I remember my grandpa laughing and telling me: No son, they are the weak and the cowards who just like the parades!

PS. You have wrong impressions about the slogans in the Army. For example the slogan of the GC commandos is "the one who dares always wins".

Saint Jimmy

Well, some do!!! But that does not mean that all brothers kill each other! You can't go off generalizing like that, it's just not fair!

I think maybe you have a different concept of brothers than I. To my way of thinking brothers do not kill eachother, they love eachother. For somebody who chooses an ecumenical name like "Saint Jimmy", such words contradict your saintliness.

Kelebek,

I'm sorry, there have been two fundamental misunderstandings here. Let me try and figure out which of the two of us made each. :D

One is that when I said 'some brothers do kill each other', I was referring to the rare exceptions that you might hear on the news, like... 'some lunatic in California shot his brother four times in the chest', something like that. Do you see? Somewhere around the world, at some point in the history of this planet, someone has, indeed, killed his brother. But that does not mean that all brothers kill each other! This is all I meant.

Two, 'Saint Jimmy' is a song that refers to a person who is anything but holy. It's a kind of ironic title, and I'm just using it... well, the point is, I'm no Saint, and not proud of it.

Actualy it is the motto of the SAS (special air service) - the UK's 'elite' army unit. He who dares wins. Of course it may well be used by many others as well but that is where I know it form.
