I was so fed up with the TV in the UK on New Years Eve that I put on my computer, went to Cytanet and clicked on to watch PIK. I had a glass of commandaria and turned off my light at 10.0pm then back on again, was pleased to get a text message in Greek from my grand daughter and then another from a friend. Unfortunately no New Years Cake, knew I would eat it all if I made one but I did enjoy a Glyko Walnut which my daughter in law gave me to bring home last summer.
I then saw the New Year in at midnight here with the fireworks from London on TV. For once they all worked and the display was wonderful.

Yep watched London fireworks in Cyprus at 2am on BBC1, I am sure the display this year was better than for the millennium!
Was promised some good fireworks down the habour in Pafos, we were all out there watiting, what a disappointment must've been about 1 firework if that! Apparantly has been better than that in previous years.
