FERRIES

Postby FLASH GORDON » Mon Jan 22, 2007 3:11 pm

I will be driving to cyprus in Feb from N.Ireland. Ferry operating between Greece and cyprus is a ro-ro ferry run by Salamis Shipping. Ferry runs twice a week and will only carry vehicle and driver, no additional passengers allowed. I will look up details and e-mail address of lady in Salamis Shipping and post it here later

Shanie

Lady dealing with my travel is Mrs Mina Christodoulou and her e-mail address is [email protected]
Ferry runs every Monday and Thursay afternoon, arriving in Limassol on Wednesday and Saturday mornings. Drivers of large HGV's seem to get priority on travel so you may have to load your van on to ferry and then fly to cyp if they have no room!

Cost is around €60 per metre plus agency fees.

Hope this helps

Gordon

Hmm. Good to know there's a ferry after all. Some people can't help themselves giving out duff info, can they?
Thanks for that Gordon!

like shanie, we too are relocating permanently to Cyprus, (Paralimni area), and i too will have to work.

does anyone have any contacts, or know of any work in that area.

i can be very flexible on the type of work - just want to live in Cyprus and pay the bills, (no mortgage or rent), just living expenses and a few keos now and then

greatly appreciate any help

thanks, Paul
