Hi,

Does anyone have information about the type of building work [my husband is a qualified carpenter] available in the building industry in and around Paphos? Rates, availability, contacts etc?

We are planning to arrive from UK in March/April for 6 months.

Ouch!

Working for one of the companies over here who do a lot of subcontracting for the major developers, my hubbie, a qualified plumber gets 400CY a month. And thats quite good money.....

£400 a month ! think he needs new job thats stupidly low the illegal sri lankans and russians are gettin £30 a day for unskilled labour on the sites

It's taken 18 months to get a job.... you really think its that easy??? and the russians and sri lankans that I know dont get that much!
