Internet is 2 parts: i-choice and an ISP. You need the i-choice in all cases* but if they signed you up for their own ISP with Netrunner thats not good! Change that and get Otenet or Netway. *= Some areas are covered by Primetel which is an alternative to i-choice and it is cheaper but I don't think your area in Paphos is covered by them. The TV channels you got with i-choice is Mivision. Nothing special but it is just 10 pounds on top of i-choice. :)

Yep, Primetel is in Paphos.

As for a 4x4, theres a bargain going in the classifieds forum here for a landrover!

Sky TV

Postby Pete_D » Wed Jan 10, 2007 12:28 am

Re. the TV, all the Brits round here seem to buy a massive (2.7m) satellite dish in order to receive Sky from the UK, but you will need to register the Sky box and get the card for a UK address.... this might not be strictly legal, if so you didn't hear about it from me ;)

Cheers, Pete

If you want SKY further east on the island, you may require a dish up to 4.2m, depending upon your location.

That figures... even here when it rains they normally lose the TV picture. Also we here are on the side of the hill pointing unobstructed to the sky which probably helps. Down in the town might be difficult to get the right angle.

Out of interest, whereabouts in pafos are you Lana?

I am on the outskirts of Peyia; even with a good set up I lose the Movie channels during the day, but tend to record them overnight for later, evening viewing.

Well I've just arrived back in the UK now, no Sky at all for me anymore as I've only got freeview here, can't get Sky installed as only renting my place :(
