I am considering a move to Cyprus and I am interested to know how much a one bedroom flat in central Nicosia costs to rent long term. It has to be something in a very good condition.

Hi Blue,

I know the prices since my sister was looking to rent one bedroom flat.
Now if you are looking to find a new appartment, let say from less than 3 years old , the prices start from 250 untill 300. Sometimes more if you find really a good one with a lot of extras and in a good area.
The prices differ in some areas like Engomi and Makedonitisa which sometimes are more expensive.
As for the commission the real estate agents get, I don' know to tell you since my sister looked by herself.
Are you planning to find an appartment before your arrive in Cyprus or after? If you decide to look when you are in Cyprus is better to look from the newspaper since there are plenty for rent.
When do you need the apartment ?
I know one owner who rents appartments and are in the center of Nicosia
