Started off as an apprentice Screen Printer but company went bust 2 months after I joined. Should have realised that they were in fact just after some cheap labor.
Joined an Electrical Wholesaler and started off as a Junior Administrator before moving onto Sales. Didn't enjoy sales too much so transfered into the warehouse where I soon became Warehouse Manager before moving onto the courier side of things. The couriers were earning alot more money than me, even though I transformed the way the warehouse worked, which they still use the same system today, 11 years after leaving them.
Done more courier work before entering the world of fibreoptics. Nowadays, I'm a full time mug

Well - shoe shop assistant, handicapped children's hospital volunteer, vending machine factory making sandwiches etc, wedding dress shop assistant, au pair, promotions presenter (this was before a proper job), graphic design student, junior graphic designer, senior graphic designer, packaging and branding manager, mum (the most important) and finally company owner but had enough so selling up and becoming - getting what work you can/dosser in Cyprus soon.

Me too.......I'm a Silver Powerseller,but sometimes i get pissed off with them,for closing my auctions down and the fact,that your at their mercy when it comes to financial disputes,and there fees are a rip off !!!!!!

Head Housekeeper in hotels for 13 years (really exciting!), moved around hotels, London twice, Chester, Shropshire, Tewkesbury, Stratford Upon Avon. Nanny for a wonderful little girl (who will be 20 this year), also in a hotel, in Wales. Programme Manager / NVQ Assessor at a college delivering Business Admin, Customer Service, Maths, English, IT at present. I have done courses on manicure, pedicure and depilation and hope to try and fit in more beauty courses in the next 12 months in preparation for moving to Cyprus next year, I would like to do something a little different when I move, and hopefully the more skills I have the easier it will be to find work!

i sell chemicals and equipment to pubs,clubs,restaurants etc. mainly for cleaning,de greasers and carbon removers. i do a bit of automotive as well, coz its more interesting i bring the chemicals in from England and paper products, like toilet rolls, c-fold hand towels and centre flow rolls etc from all over Europe !!!
then i distribute it from limassol to pahos, up to polis and my partner does Nicosia and larnaca up to the green line.

so there ya go

I get paid for checking mails ... I was software engineer but now hardly a mail router ... Started as trainee 5 yr back and now one of project lead (that justify my job description) ...

Well done everybody who has participated in adding to the post so far,highlighting the jobs they have done in the past and what they do now,its like a before and after story.............great reading folks keep it up,as you never know when the info may come in handy,because at the same time were actualy advertising ourselves too !!!
