The Republic of Cyprus and The Hellenic Republic

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

The Republic of Cyprus and The Hellenic Republic

Postby magikthrill » Tue Dec 28, 2004 7:19 pm

I have a couple of questions regarding Greek and GC relations.

To what extent do modern GCs (the youth the refugees etc) blame Greece for the partition?
and

To what extent has the Hellenic Republic intervened in Cypriot affiars post-74 more than other EU countries?

Magicthrill,

What is your point? That Greece learned its lesson for intervening in Cyprus before 1974?

I'm sorry, I was being oversensitive.

I think G/Cs do hold Greece responsible partly for the partition, but its far more easy for them to blame Turkey entirely for the partition. They are more forgiving of Greece and of all the atrocities Greek soldiers committed in Cyprus toward G/C and T/C.
