I hadn't realised how expensive second hand goods are in Cyprus. In UK there is very little market for second hand furniture and electricals.
Hardly urprising when you look at the price of new stuff.
e.g. in my local Asda today: 14" TV with built-in DVD player £68; 28" TV - £100.

Thanks anyway, but we have decided that as it is only a few more months before we move everything over from England, we will just manage with what we have for the time being.
