if you have the time would you be interested to meet at some point (in the next couple of months ) . i am not that far away from the swiss border..

Sure Cypezokyli. I'm near Zürich, where are you in Germany, to get some idea which would be the closest crossing point. Most of the crossing points are 45 minutes to 1 hour from where I am. We can meet along the border, German or the Swiss side.

Hi Kikapu, I know I'm dragging up an old reply (I haven't been able to get onto the forum for quite a while, so I've had to catch up a bit with the latest forum gossip...) but I just have to say that your a lucky bloke living so near such a beautiful City...I was in Zurich for a few hours (not nearly enough time..) in October before I caught a plane to Athens and I thoroughly enjoyed myself, walking through the old town, watching the sun set over the river...very beautiful...I'd love to go back and check out the rest of Switzerland (plus I can get my hands on some nice Lindt chocolate...Hmmm....so tasty...;)).

Anyway, I really hope that you and your girlfriend have a great time in Cyprus when you go! (Although I'm pretty sure you will...) :D

Hi Natty,

I have missed you on the forum.

Zürich is a lovely city. Did you know, it was 15°C yesterday. That was warmer than my other favourite city, San Francisco. We are waiting for the Snow, so we can go to the mountains to do some "schlitten" (sledging).

I'm getting really excited going about to Cyprus. I'm sure it's going to be great. Will let you know later, on how it went.

Dear kikapu,

Sorry from all the “women” – “females” here … we request mercy for the spelling mistake…:))
Next time that you will think for Miltiades, as to what he will think….keep it in your thoughts!! Let him answer to protect him from getting troubles without his consent. I am sure that his is capable to give better answers from you!!!!:) ;)
Can I ask a favour? Please before your post…read again what I said before…

Where did you hide the above quote. I looked for it now, and I still can't find it.

Thank you for your lovely words also. I still did not get an answer as to what you meant by being "hungry".

Hungry for what.?

LENA wrote:Dear cypersokyli...your right about all that you said and I didnt about miltiades and everything...but even that if he is old and even if he was my grandfather...I really didnt like his comment about women that are not able to use a mobile phone but I didnt post that one too seriously. But when he replied to my, it’s seems to me that he do not respect that much women.

Dear miltiades...am sorry if you didnt find your feminist model to me...but I am not really a feminist one...I just posted all that about birth and Jesus mother etc...just to show you that I dont really want to start a discussion like that ... and you forgot that the process for the creation of a human being (women and men) include tow people, and men satisfy women as well, and the best chiefs are men, and there is lot of men that do the same as a women mpla...mpla mpla....

But I still think that you should post your depreciating comments about women all over... especially when a woman might see those...not very glamorous for a man!!!

I hope that will help you to locate my words...you dont pay attention to me :bawling:

Are there places in the RoC and the "TRNC" for renting small sail boats, for few hours.?

For example, a Hobie Catamarans, will be the best.?

Also, does someone have a list of Marinas, from Pafos to Agia Napa.?

Also, is there a limit in £ value, how much goods one can bring to the RoC from "TRNC", for Cypriots and non alike.?

Any recommendations for a hotel, directly at the Larnaca Airport. We are arriving rather late, so it would make sense to stay close to the airport the first night. I assume cabs are out in force, very late at night.?

We were at the Zürich FESPO show last weekend. It is the annual Holiday Convention, so we got a lot of information from the Cyprus desk, but did not have any info on renting boats.

There was also a desk for "North Cyprus", which had few brochures , mostly about where to stay. They had a flat screen, with a vidio showing parts of the North. Aside from Keryneia / Girne, the rest of the video was mostly about flowers and hills and some beaches. I have to say, we spent an hour close to both Cyprus desk and North Cyprus desk, and there were almost no takers, at the North Cyprus desk. Then again, it was a perfect day to go skiing, so there were less people at the show, so draw your own conclusions.
