WHY I SAID YES TO THE ANNAN PLAN

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Postby BirKibrisli » Sun Jan 07, 2007 1:27 am

I want to second Zan's call and invite everyone to go to the ATCA forum and try to engage those people in constructive discussions. That is what is needed. No use preaching to the converted in "safe" forums. If we will achieve permanent peace and reunification we need to convince those partitionist that they are on a road to nowhere. Or rather on a road to self-destruction...

But I said "constructive discussions",please note. If you go there and abuse them it will only make them think they are absolutely right in thinking that "you can't make rugs from pigs or friends with Greeks"... :(

What constructive discussions? I 've been there, they don't discuss anything. They are exactly like Zan. Try to open a conversation and they either curse or say some meaningless rhetorics. Basically they are 1960 TMTs.

One says now that the GCs said no to the Anan Plan Talat should go ahead openly and ask for recognition. "What is he waiting for?"
A choir jumps up and applauses. Try to start a discussion you are banned within seconds.

BK, Atca members represent a very small minority of TC's. I would just let them get on with it.

How about you entering a constructive dialogue with the likes of Kifeas, Piratis, Sotos, Pyrpolizer and many more on this forum who represent the vast majority of GC's. There is far more to be done on this forum than there is at ATCA.

Thank God I am glad to hear they are a small minority mrfromng.
We do have a small minority like them too, I don't like them either.

Btw I don't consider any of the persons you named to want partition, or enosis, or subordination of tcs to minority status. We just want our rights back.

Do you want to point me to a post where you have done anything but curse and call me names when we have crossed swords pyro. What you want is for me to behave like your little puppy and believe every thing you say and it does not happen so you resort to more abuse. If you want a discussion then you will get the same on ATCA as I do here. Some people will talk to you and others will shout at you if you can handle it. Just because I want recognition, to you I am all bad. Not that it really matters but I think that is the best way as things stand and you don't and you cannot accept that I could have a different view and be Turkish. Hell you even scream and shout at GCs that think different to you and then you say that you don't like the small number of GCs that are like those on ATCA. You are one of them.

We all want our rights. The day you all admit that your administration is not doing enough (in fact they are doing nothing) in resolving the Cyprus issue is the day we will all go forward.

I suggest you exert some energy in pressuring your President in some constructive dialogue with us or he gets the f*** out.

Yes too many zany. Kifeas was right you never engage in real discussion with arguments. You just throw irrelevant and provocative slogans. I am losing my time with you. Go to Acta.

@mrfromng
His days are over my friend. However I beleive he is not the only problem. FYi Talat is about to resign because the militants don't let him even dismantle a small metallic bridge. So even if we bring up an angel for President, I don't think anything could happen because of Ankara and its militants.

These are just speculation. He has denied he had a problem with the military. Furthermore he said if there was any truth in these speculations he would not resign as resigning is a sign of weakness. He has a mission and a vision on the Cyprob so he will continue.

I believe he genuinely wants some progress in 2007, lets hope your side will accommodate and not hinder.
