bg turks continue to be denied freedom of movement

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Postby Issy1956 » Fri Jan 05, 2007 1:06 am

Piratis,
I for one couldnt give a damn if Turkey accedes or not. I very much doubt it that it will. What amuses and dismays me in equal amounts is the pure hatred that GC's like you and Sotos have for Turkey and the Turkish people. Hatred so intense that you will willingly sacrifice and divide our country in the vain hope of doing them harm.Amazing. Truly amazing. I thought so political naivity had died in the 60 but no its alive and well and living in Cyprus. I can now begin to undertsnad how someone like Tpap can be elected to be your President. Your President is truly cast in your image.
If the majority of GC's are like you and Sotos I must confess that you have converted me from a unifier to an avowed partionist. We can never live together in one country as one people.

Keep them out unless they have at least £10,000 in their pockets to support themselves and the Cyprus economy and not fleece it !!!!!!

Issy, when did you support unification? You talk about the thing that you call "unification" while in fact is partition, like the Annan plan for example?

I am convinced for long time already that you will never voluntarily give the land you stole from us back. When we will take it back it will be the time that you will not have the power to enforce this crime and illegality against us.

And about what hate are you talking about? Are you talking about our perfectly natural and justified anger against those that occupy our country and insist on our ethnic cleansing from our homeland of 3500 years? You insist on this hostility and crimes against us and in return you expect love from us? Are you serious?

I said it many times: It is either mutual respect, or mutual hate.

I have asked for mutual respect many times in the past but it has been rejected. When you reject to even respect my human, legal and democratic rights, then don't expect anything very good in return.

It is up to you when the hate will stop. The moment you stop committing crimes against us, at that same moment our natural reaction to your hateful actions will cease to exist.

Piratis,
I surrender. You have worn me down. I now know that there can never be any compromise between us and that we must forever be divided until such time as you have sufficient power to take back what you consider to be you yours. Until that time comes the status quo will remain. End of story.

I have never asked from you to make any compromise from your human, legal or democratic rights. If you are willing to make such kind of compromises then come and ask from us to do them as well. Until today we are the only ones who are making compromises. The Turkish "compromise" is like this: "steal a lot, give a bit back = compromise"!!

When you are ready for either return to legality or true mutual compromises that will not have you gain on our loss, then we will talk again. If not, then you are right. The status quo will remain until we will be able to take back what belongs to us. Your hope that you can legalize and be gifted with our signature (via Annan plans etc) the land that was stolen from us will never materialize.

Piratis, please try to keep on topic. Spare us your endless lamentations about the alleged violations of your human rights in every possible topic.

Excellent example of what the GC mentality will do to the supporters of reunification, they will realize that the only real alternative is the current status quo and a gradual move towards removal of restrictions on our human rights via the EU who boast at being the champions of democracy and human rights, let them works for us to show they do not want to leave the TCs in the cold for saying YES to a comprehensive solution. We can stay unrecognized with all the benefits enjoyed by people all over the world. Our main aim should be show the world that we to deserve to be treated as equals and that non solution does not mean we have to be discriminated against.

The only alternative is an end to the illegal occupation and the illegalities and crimes imposed by Turkey.

You are the ones who cause human rights violations, so how can you complain about the concequences of your actions?

We can stay unrecognized with all the benefits enjoyed by people all over the world.

The reason that what you created there is unrecognized is because it is illegal. Are you saying that you want to continue this illegality and crimes and face no concequences because of it?

If you don't want the concequences then end what is causing them. Very simple.

Yes, you are. They did demand that Bulgarian citizens be allowed to cross back in 2005, when the Greek Cypriot administration prevented a few hundred people from voting in the embassy for the presidential elections in Bulgaria.

Funny..u always refer to greek cypriot admin, what about armenian cypriots, maronites, latins etc..... why did they choose not to go to the turkish paradise? cyprus is multiethnic nation, do u know that?
