Surely this is a problem, bulgaria shall take away their citizenship and passports. however Bulgaria like i said before is not 100% member of EU. there are many restrictions regarding move of bulgarians within EU and my guess is that they are only virtually members of EU.

Bulgaria is a full fledged member of the EU. There are no restrictions on freedom of movement.

lol

are u joking or wot?

for seven years bulgarians will not be able to work except low-skill works in britain and other members.

just to get an idea

restrictions on food

Hungary became the first of the countries which joined the EU in 2004 to introduce temporary restrictions for Bulgarian and Romanian migrant workers, EUobserver reported.

bg_turk , please explain why you have a greek flag and a turkish flag posted??? i take it you are Bulgarian, decide where you want to be at already, you are bulgarian, with a turkish flag, who wants to live in Cyprus?? whats that all about?. As for the freedom of movement thing, if you can explian genuin reasons for wanting to move to the republic, and explain how your doing so is beneficial, or that of your comrads then by all means come over and join us. As i do not wish to generalise it would not be polite for me to state that the majority of people from Bulgaria or eastern block countries , have no means to support themselves and if what they have done to great brittain is anything to go by, then thank god they arent letting you over! Sorry if what i have written sounds harsh but really you must understand that the government is just trying to protect our country and i for one am very glad that they are.

Seems like the Greek Cypriot administration has given up. We are allowed to cross to the South whenever we feel like it.

Try and arrest me now. A few hundred thousand pounds in compensation for the violation of my freedom of movement would come in handy.

So what are the nice places in the South? Do you have any tips of which places I should visit?

I don't either. I thought, perhaps you did. If not, which post were you refering to, for me to read from Pyropolizer in that case.?

Oh forget about him Kikapu. He thinks only the GC refugees will suffer from no solution. He doesn't see the catastrophy our Country will be going through. And when I point him that worse things can happen, that will hurt TCs as bad, he suddenly loses his voice.

My ethnic origin and what flags I carry is not really that big an issue. And I am not going to live in Cyprus. My ex actually is from the TRNC so I was thinking of visiting her, and maybe then I could go down to the South just as a tourist.

If your government is so protectionist, it should not have entered the EU. The EU is about freedom of movement, and we have the right to travel freely in your country, as you have the right to do so in ours.

And yes your generalizations about people in my country are wrong and ugly, as we clearly have a means of support.

The Brits should be the last ones to complain about Bulgarian immigrants. There is an expat invasion of my country, they are buying up our land like crazy and property prizes have sky rocketed because of them.

If you dont plan on living over here then obviously there is no problem, but you have to admit that as im sure you know there will be many bulgarians and turks trying to find a way to live and work over here. I do think you are an eception i.e having financail means and not wanting to work in another country. As for the Brits, well, i think all who read this will agree that GB is a dump and has been completely destroyed by assylum seekers, refugees, gypsies and all other immigrants who have moved there in recent years, so Bulgarians cannot complain if a minority leave England and decide to buy proerty there. After all they are brining in much needed money and helping your economy so you should be greatfull. And what you described is pretty much what the brits did to Cyprus and you dont see us complaining?
