Ppl think that its cheaper to employ them but in the long run its not, im not going to generalise or tarnish them all with the same brush, but truth be told, not only do the vast majority do some kind or criminal activity , they are not as hard working as some other people. Besides id rather have anyone from another eu country work for me than anyone from any eastern block country. Sorry, but wouldnt trust them as far as i can throw them, which probably wouldnt be too far.

Why is it when the poorer countries get into the EU,they pack their bags and f*ck off to better countries instead of waiting and helping their own countries get better with the new EU funding that they will recieve.......OH...NO...not a chance they just piss people like me off bigtime,they work for nothing,and what there actualy doing is bringing better oraganised counties like the Britain down to the shit level they were used to at the old crap countries where they came from,but now they have jobs they are robbing from UK citizens already unemployed in the UK,giving them more money in there pockets,when i come to Cyprus,am i gona get Social security money,a council house,my rent and community tax paid by the Cypriot government.......NO !!!!!!!......... I DON'T F*CKIN THINK SO !!!!!!!!! And i wouldnt accept a handout anyway i'd rather starve and die with dignity !!!!!!!!
These people shoud not be allowed into any other EU country unless they are comming to support themselves with at least £10,000 for the first year or a simple holiday only !!!!!!!!!!! After all im not comming to Cyprus penniless,i wouldnt embarass my self to stooping to that tinky bast*ard level,i have worked my bloody socks off to get to where i am today and it hasnt been without painful sacrafices either !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Joanna, in a word, "you get what you pay for". You can't expect these people to work for shit, put up with shit and then also expect them to be honest and also do a good job. Are you not really asking too much from these "slave labourers" that the country has allowed them to come, live and work there. In order to survive, people will go to extremes. You really should blame your Government, before blaming these poor bastards, who are treated like "non- humans".

What ever happened to the saying " an honest days work for a honest days pay". Lost in Paradise, I guess. !!!

highlander- u sound really pissed off!!! dont blame you, to put it in a not so nice way England (UK in general) is now a complete SH*ITE hole thanks to mostly eastern block scum. Agree with you completely that if they are truely hard working ppl then by all means they can emigrate to other countries, but as they are mostly just gypsies and other wasters just trying to see what they can drain from the country they are going to (ie Englands stupid system whereby they sh*ite on the english tax payers and hand out everything free to foreighners)not good all this EU freedom of movement thing. yes....bulgaria...what a country...12 years old kids working for 2-3 dollars per day. no unions, no labour law....that is the capitalists paradise.

that may be what you do to poor immigrant kids in Cyprus, but there are laws in Bulgaria protecting minors from exploitation. In fact recently lawsuits have been filed against firms from Greece, many of which operate sweatshops in the country, exploiting mostly poor people from the Gypsy community.

Sorry mate: But i beg to differ.......Why come to our countries and expect to be privilaged,they are getting better treated than what there used too,a proper roof over there head and at least they have money in there scronie little pockets now, what do you want, people to do treat them like royalty,like say the stupid idiotic British government,i dont think so let them crawl back into there stinking rat holes,and send them back to help rebuild there own countries instead of bringing ours down to their level !!!!!!!!

I don't know which part you want to differ with me, but if your Governments did not agree to let these people in, then they would not come. Just because businesses benefit from cheap labour, and you, as a consumer, also benefit from their "slave labour", your country benefits from the "slave trade".

No one is forcing your Governments to let these people in. Well, actually, big business is forcing your Governments to let these people in. As I said, if these people are not paid enough to survive, guess what, they will get the money from your Governments, which is part of your Taxes. When more money is needed, your Taxes will just go up. So in essense, your Taxes are subsidizing big businesses, because they don't pay enough for these people to live on.

There is an easy solution. Either get out of the EU, or else, make sure businesses pay a decent wage. That's simple, is it not.??

your right,yes there is little or nothing we can do as citizens,to stop the influx of these people,other than what im doing,and that is to get the f*ck out of Britain,and let the British government play Santa Claus to imigrants at the expence of its own people !!!!!!!!!........sad....sad....day
