if i have hidden cameras in shops in cyprus do i have to display a sign giving a warning as i am recording with out their knowledge.

Hi Milkboy, how many shops are you planing on opening and where exactly?
In fairness its upto you,but if you want to detere people from stealing from the offset,then a few signs,saying these premises are monitored by 24hr security cameras,as that has always been the message ive stuck by in all my previous shops.

Under the Data Protection Act, I believe people are entitled by law to be made aware they are being monitored. Better to check it out.

i don't know why you would need them, there is no crime in cyprus. the people there are all perfect. unless of course you have tourist coming into your shops. gotta watch out for those americans....

Where do you leave Gorrila?Everywhere there is a crime.Especially in Cyprus crime is becoming bigger and bigger day by day. :?

Gorilla was being sarcastic because she thinks we think we are better than everyone else. Like it or not it is common knowledge there are places in the US you shouldnt be caught walking around at night... I for one wont go to some places without Charlie. I love it here but I wish there was less fear. I love Cyprus but I wish there was less meddling. What can you do...
