Prices are reasonable they sell a large selection of books, pens, markers, greeting cards, writing papers, scrapbook materials.. really a very nice shop. Go to the main street in Oroklini, past chemist and bank of cyprus, flower shop, it's in the building next to the supermarket across from the mobile phone/computer shop. Not sure of the name of it but visit, it's lovely!!

Thanks for that oroklinisevices I'll give it a look as it's only a short distance from Larnaca and I have some friends who have just moved there and will of course visit next time I'm in Cyprus.

Do they have fax and copying facilities as well -- this is something I always have problems finding in Larnaca.

Bill

Hi Bill, not 100% sure if they do photocopying or faxing, but do know Computer Central down on Dhekelia Road has done a few of my faxes for me, and i'm sure they have a copier as well.
Hope this helps!

Yes thanks Stuart -- and I've replied -- also looked at your web site.

Could be very interested in that type of work.

I've included my email address for future contact in the pm.

Cheers Bill

Mike

LOCATION - LOCATION - LOCATION...

Need I say more?

If you are selling High Value items - then yes get CCTV in.

£2.00 birthday cards... Who wants to nick them? Not me thats for sure --- No Fun In It :-)

You need to do more research. Are you here now? If not when are you coming over?

Hi Folks ,
Why do i get the feeling this stationery/card shop is being sponsered by a Walter Mitty.
Anyone in business reading all this like me must be laughing as i was from the start (read my first posting on this subject) premises are more important than any stock buying, that comes last, when i had my first shop before i took it over i sat in the car form 9.00am till 5.00pm mon,wed and saturday just counting the daily passing footfall and that is just the start, theres a hell of a lot more to owning a shop than that !!!!!!,who in their right mind buys stock before they have an outlet to sell it from........Quote Milkboy said: "I think maybe Limasol or one of the quieter villages as i dont want to see people being mugged or stabbed"
Come on........Waken up everybody and smell the coffee !!!!!!!!!

Well I do hope you succeed Mike --

I hope you were you joking about your change of location -- I take it that if you are ordering from the wholesalers you have found a place already.

The one problem ( actually there are many ) about starting a business in Cyprus is that if it's successful someone will open up a similar shop close to you and reduce your business potential -- it's not so much a Cyprus only problem as it happens all over the world -- it just doesn't happen so much in the UK -- except for fast food places before someone comments  .

I trust you have done careful research on this venture

I still would like some comments regarding my questions as I feel they are very valid and as a prospective future small business owner myself I would like some answers -- most participate on this forum to help each other if possible and I feel you could help me with your comments.
